I have a Benelli MP90S target pistol, which has a very short dovetail right in front of the rear sight. You also have to remove any sight mounted there to disassemble the pistol. The cantilever design of this mount, combined with the lever release makes it absolutely perfect for this pistol. After sighting it in one day, I went back later, re-mounted the sight, and my first 8 shots were all 10's! No problems with a repeatable zero!
