Return policy

Returning an item

Every customer has the right to return any product(s) in a period of 14 days after the product(s) have been received. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good. 

Returns are done without any questions asked, since we believe that this is not only a customer right by law but it is also a legitimate choice. If you received a product and you see that it does not fit your needs, it is understandable that you will wish to return it. 


Effects of cancellation

When returning the product, the buyer sends it at his own expense and is entitled to a full refund upon return if the product is in the same condition as new, in its original packaging, and with all accompanying accessories, manuals, or any other items that belong to the product.

In the event of any damage or signs of use, reduced quantity, or similar cases, Optics Trade d.o.o. reserves the right to refuse the return or to refund only up to 50% of its original value.

If the customer does not agree with the offered refund value, the product will be returned to the customer without refund. We appreciate your understanding as we aim to maintain the quality of our products and services.

The refund will be processed within 30 days upon receipt of the returned product and can only be made via transfer to the customer's bank account or in the form of a credit note for a future purchase in the online store. We advise customers to choose to insure the shipment and pack the goods as carefully as possible when sending them back.


Return or exchange process

  • You can request a refund or exchange using the following link: Return or exchange Form.

  • Fill in the form and click on the 'submit' button.

    • Please enter the correct contact details.

    • Please also enter the purchase date and invoice number.

    • Enter the details of the product you are returning. If you requested an exchange and you already know which model you wish to exchange your product for, please enter the SKU or model of the new product in the 'exchange' field. If the cost of the new product is higher, you will be later informed of the extra charge.

    • Please take photos of your product from all sides and with all accessories. The serial number of the product, if any, should be visible in the photo.

  • Our customer service employee will review your data within 1-2 working days to check if the product is without faults and if you are entitled to your request.

  • Once approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the product back to us. You will receive a PDF form by email, which should be printed and included in the parcel along with the product. If you are not entitled to a refund or exchange, you will be informed.

  • Once we receive the product, we will inspect it and assess whether it matches your photos.

  • Once approved, you will be able to choose a new product or will be refunded the purchase price using the same payment method you chose for your last order, unless you chose ‘cash on delivery’, in which case we will ask you to provide us with your bank account details.
