Dipol was the first company to use the M49x0.75 standard on their clip-on devices for mounting purposes. They make an adapter that fits directly onto the thread, but a combination of an adapter and a reduction ring (converter) is needed if you wish to purchase a mounting solution from any other renowned adapter manufacturer. All the clip-ons that feature this mounting standard are front-mounted, meaning that they are mounted on the riflescope’s objective.
