Night Pearl shifted from the bayonet-type mounting standard used on the first-generation Seer to the thread-type mounting standard (M43x0.75) – they have used it on all their clip-ons since, hence the name of this standard. This standard is also used on some devices made by Liemke. All the adapters made for it are of the two-piece type – you need to pair a reduction ring (converter) with an adapter that is typically designed for the Dedal mounting standard (M52x0.75). All the clip-ons that feature this mounting standard are front-mounted, meaning that they are mounted on the riflescope’s objective.
