These compact porro prism binoculars from Bushnell are lightweight and small enough to store or carry about wherever your adventures take you. This makes suitable for activities that includes hiking, mountaineering and travelling.
The 8x power as well as a wide field of view, excellent minimum focus distance and relatively good low light capabilities for this class of instrument means they make it easier to locate small fast moving targets like birds, butterflies and other wildlife and will excel at closer ranges and where the light may not be ideal.
These binoculars feature a rubber armour exterior with a non slip diamond pattern, central focus wheel and fold-down rubber eyecups.
Fully multi-coated optics help to capture and transmit more light than the multi-coated lenses used by much of the competition at this price level. The reverse shaped porro prisms are made from BK-7 glass and whilst these may not be able to fold up to the extremely small shape as the 8x21 or 10x25 roof prism PowerView models, they have an optical advantage in that they do not require mirror coatings on the prisms to achieve total internal reflection. So at this low cost price range porro prism binoculars like these will usually transmit more light, for a brighter and often better quality view.
Bushnell offer these binoculars with a 10 year warranty.
