Vector Optics Continental series

Vector Optics was founded in 2007 as an OEM supplier for other manufacturers. They developed the Continental series of riflescopes, which are their most expensive series. All Continetal riflescopes have 34 millimeter tube diameter and come packed with numerous features.

Optical Properties

Continetal riflescope features a magnification range of 1 to 6x. Vector Optics claim a light transmission rate through the entire scope is more than 90%. The image quality is far superior than you would anticipate for this price.

Physical Properties

Vector Optics Continental is shock resistant up to a .338 Lapua Magnum. It's also dust-proof and water-resistant, withstanding a 30-minute dive at a depth of one meter.

Bullet drop compensation reticle is used in a Continental scope for marks up to 800 meters for factory .223 Remington ammunition with 55 grain bullets. The reticle features a horseshoe design and is the only visible point at lowest magnification setting. When we increase the magnification the reticle gets visible.

Even on the stronges brightness setting, the scope isn't bright enough for daytime usage. The only thing that is illuminated is the horseshoe and the dot in the reticle's center.

Continental riflescope has tactical lockable turrets with a turn indicator, which is unusual for this price range. In one revolution you make exactly 10 miliradians of elevation. Mechanical and visual turn indicator emerges when you complete second revolution. When you're in the third revolution it protrudes even farther.

The scope's windage turret also has a locking function. The zero stop does not have any clicks under the zero and it is very easy to adjust. To sight in the scope, simply make the necessary adjustments, lock the turret, and remove the screw.
