These mid-sized 32 mm binoculars with their 8x magnification make them suitable for a wide range of uses where a reasonably good low light performance is required from an easy to pack and carry binocular.

The 8x32 combination produces a 4 mm diameter exit-pupil, which works in unison with the good quality, fully multi-coated optics and results in high quality and fairly bright image in all but the very worst ambient lighting.

This long eye relief means that all users, including those wearing eyeglasses, will be able to adjust the twist-up eyecups to a position where their eyes are at the correct distance behind the ocular lenses to achieve the full image without black rings forming on the edges.

The closest focusing distance of 3.5 meters is fine for most general uses, but not ideal should you often like observing things like butterflies from a very close range.
