These two main characteristics, as well as their comfortable ergonomics and high quality optics, make them an ideal companion for everything from backyard birding, to country walks, hiking adventures and traveling. In addition to being an advantage for uses like for birding and wildlife observation at closer ranges, the relatively wide field of view puts this model forward as an excellent choice of binocular to take along to most outdoor sporting events as it means you can observe more of the action at once without having to move the view about. The minimum close focus distance of only 1.8 meters really adds to the versatility of this instrument as they can also be used very effectively for the close study of insects like butterflies or birds on a nearby feeder for example. Some users also like to take a pair of compact binoculars along to art galleries or museums where a good close focus distance is also important. For a compact binocular the 16mm of eye-relief that these offer is excellent and are one of the few full compacts that will be suitable for use whilst wearing eyeglasses.

These Endurance binoculars also feature a right eye dioptre so you can calibrate them and allow for any difference in vision between left and right eyes.
These compacts share all the same high-quality optical features and coatings as that of the full sized versions. This includes the use of BaK-4 glass which is considered superior to the BK7 alternative used on lesser quality compacts.
