ABOUT THE TELOS SERIES

The Telos series from Pulsar represents a new chapter in thermal imaging innovation. It introduces a fully modular and upgradeable platform, allowing users to future-proof their device. Unlike conventional thermal monoculars, Telos units are designed with long-term adaptability in mind. Users can upgrade to better sensors, change lenses, or retrofit components such as laser rangefinders.

This modularity is complemented by Pulsar’s signature features, including ergonomic design, high-end optics, and durable construction. The Telos series is well-suited for demanding use by professionals, search and rescue teams, and experienced hunters. Each model in the lineup, including the LRF variants, emphasizes performance, user comfort, and investment longevity.

ABOUT THE MODEL (TELOS LRF XP50)

The Telos LRF XP50 features a high-performance 640x480 thermal sensor with a 17 μm pixel pitch, providing exceptional image resolution and detail clarity. It is paired with a 50 mm f/1.0 germanium lens, ensuring a long detection range and excellent image contrast, even in fog, rain, or cold conditions.

This model is equipped with a laser rangefinder (LRF) capable of accurately measuring distances up to 1000 meters, making it ideal for professional field work and precision observation. The image is displayed on a high-quality AMOLED screen, supported by Pulsar’s powerful image processing algorithms and multiple thermal color palettes.

The Telos XP50 also includes Pulsar’s new redesigned eyepiece, offering a comfortable viewing experience that is closer to natural vision, with improved eye relief and less distortion. The device uses a robust LPS 7i battery pack, providing long runtime and USB-C recharging.

While no longer the flagship model in the Telos lineup, the XP50 offers a well-balanced mix of features, performance, and price, making it a smart and sensible choice for those looking for premium quality at a more accessible level.
