Maven B2 7x45

• 7x45 configuration: The combination of 7x magnification and a 45.00 mm objective gives this binocular a bright, steady view that is especially useful at dawn, dusk, and in dense cover where low-light performance matters more than extra power.
• Abbe/Koenig roof prisms: This prism design helps the Maven B2 7x45 deliver strong light transmission and a natural, high-contrast image, which makes it easier to pick out detail in shadowed terrain and during long glassing sessions.
• Wide field of view: With 129.50 m/1000m of field of view, the binocular shows more of the scene at once, helping with scanning, tracking moving game, and maintaining orientation in broken country.
• Magnesium housing: The magnesium body keeps the binocular robust without unnecessary bulk, so it stands up well to regular field use while remaining manageable for all-day carry.
• Waterproof and fogproof construction: Nitrogen filling with waterproof and fogproof sealing keeps the optic reliable when temperatures change quickly or weather turns wet, reducing the risk of internal fogging in the field.

About the Maven B2 Series

Maven B2 binoculars sit in the brand’s elite B Series and are built for users who prioritize image quality in difficult light. The series was developed around a magnesium frame, a waterproof and fog-proof nitrogen-purged construction, and a design that is ready for tripod use when longer observation sessions call for more stability. Within Maven’s lineup, the B2 family is aimed at hunters and serious observers who spend time glassing in the first and last light of the day, where brightness, contrast, and ease of view become more important than compact size.

The series combines Abbe-Koenig prisms, extra-low-dispersion glass, and an optical field flattener to produce a bright image with good control of color fringing and better edge consistency across the field of view. Maven states that B2 binoculars use Japanese components and are assembled in the United States, which matches the series’ focus on premium mechanical and optical execution. In practical use, the B2 line is defined by its low-light bias, full-size handling, and a viewing experience designed to stay comfortable during long periods behind the glass.

About the Maven B2 7x45

The Maven B2 7x45 is configured for users who want a calm, bright image rather than maximum reach. Its 7.00 x magnification is easier to hold steady than higher-power binoculars, and when paired with the 45.00 mm objective it produces a generous 6.43 mm exit pupil. In practice, that means a relaxed view that is well suited to woodland hunting, scanning at dawn and dusk, and extended observation where eye comfort matters as much as raw detail.

The optical layout uses Roof - Abbe/Koenig prisms and fully multicoated lenses, supported by a stated 93.7 % light transmission. Together, these features help preserve brightness and contrast in subdued light. The wide 129.50 m/1000m field of view also makes this model easier to use for searching broad areas and following movement without feeling tunnel-like. An 18.00 mm eye relief gives more flexibility for eyeglass wearers, while the 1.90 m close focus keeps the binocular useful at shorter distances as well.

Mechanically, the binocular is built around a magnesium body with a single hinge design and central focusing system. Waterproof, fogproof, and nitrogen-filled construction supports dependable use across changing weather and temperatures from - 25°C / +60°C. The right-eye diopter adjustment and 56.00 mm to 75.00 mm interpupillary range allow the binocular to be tuned to the user, while tripod adaptability adds an advantage for prolonged glassing from a fixed position.

About Maven

Maven Outdoor Equipment Company was founded in 2013 in Lander, Wyoming. The company focuses on sporting optics, including binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, rangefinders, and monoculars, and it is known for a direct-to-consumer model rather than traditional retail distribution. Within the binocular category, Maven separates its ranges by construction and component level, with the B and S Series using Japanese components and assembly in a military-standard facility in San Diego.

For products such as the Maven B2, the company emphasizes Japanese-produced glass, magnesium-frame construction, and in-house quality control at its Lander headquarters, where B and S Series optics are inspected and tested. That background is relevant here because it places the B2 in Maven’s more premium binocular offering, aimed at users who want durable field construction and a strong optical standard for hunting and observation.
