Integrix iX8 1-8x28

• True 1-8x LPVO range: The 1x to 8x magnification lets the scope handle fast, close shooting like a red dot at the low end while still giving enough reach and target detail for medium-range work.
• First focal plane A1 MOA reticle: Because the FFP etched reticle stays proportional through the zoom range, holdovers and ranging references remain consistent at any magnification where speed matters.
• Locking, zero-resettable turrets: The pull-to-unlock / push-to-lock design helps prevent accidental movement during transport or hard use, while zero reset keeps the scope easy to return to a known baseline.
• 34 mm tube with wide adjustment travel: The larger tube and generous elevation and windage range give more setup flexibility on different rifle and mount combinations, especially on carbines built for varied distances.
• Built for field and range use: Over 92% light transmission, nitrogen filling, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction, and operation from - 40 / + 70 °C support dependable use across changing weather and demanding shooting conditions.

About the Integrix iX8 Series

The Integrix iX8 series is the low-power variable line in the INTEGRIX riflescope range, built around the needs of AR-15-platform rifles and similar carbines. It is aimed at shooters who want one optic for fast transitions at short distance and more deliberate aiming as the target moves farther out. That makes the series a natural fit for practical rifle competition, training carbines, general-purpose tactical optics, and hunting rifles used at close to medium range.

A defining trait of the series is its combination of first focal plane reticle options with an 8x zoom ratio. This gives the shooter a broad working range without giving up reticle scaling for holdovers and ranging. The optical system uses German and Japanese glass lenses that are individually centration-tested and multi-coated, with the series designed to deliver over 92% light transmission and clear edge-to-edge viewing. Mechanically, the iX8 family emphasizes practical handling with red and green illumination, lockable and zero-resettable turrets, and a compact LPVO format intended to stay quick on the rifle rather than feel oversized for carbine use.

About the Integrix iX8 1-8x28

The Integrix iX8 1-8x28 is a compact 34 mm FFP LPVO built for rifles that need to move between close targets and medium-range shots without changing optics or shooting style. At 1x, the wide field of view and daylight-usable illumination support fast target acquisition in the way shooters expect from a modern carbine scope. At 8x, the added magnification helps with target identification, more precise shot placement, and better use of holdovers on smaller or more distant targets.

The scope’s etched glass A1 MOA reticle is designed to stay useful across the full zoom range. In first focal plane format, the reticle grows and shrinks with magnification, so its subtensions remain valid rather than being limited to one power setting. That matters in practical shooting, where there is not always time to dial to a specific magnification before using reticle references. Red and green illumination with 10 brightness settings improves visibility against different backgrounds, while the 12 hour automatic shutoff helps preserve battery life in regular field use.

Mechanically, this model is set up for hard use. The pull-to-unlock / push-to-lock turrets are easy to handle with gloves and less likely to shift unintentionally. Zero reset and Zero Stop make return-to-zero more straightforward after adjustments. A 95 mm eye relief, fast-focus eyepiece, included oversized throw lever, nitrogen-filled body, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction all support a riflescope that is practical on working carbines rather than delicate range equipment.

About Integrix

Integrix is a premium optics brand from Leapers, Inc., a company established in 1992 and headquartered in Livonia, Michigan. The brand focuses on riflescopes for hunting, sport shooting, and long-range use, with the lineup covering low-power variable, mid-power, and extreme long-range models. Integrix designs its optical and mechanical systems in-house, which is reflected in the brand’s emphasis on matching lens performance, turret function, and overall durability rather than treating them as separate features.

Within this category, Integrix is known for scopes specified to provide more than 92% light transmission and for a design approach centered on practical field use. That includes attention to optical clarity, repeatable mechanics, and configurations that suit both general-purpose carbines and more specialized precision rifles. For shooters looking at modern tactical optics, the brand sits as Leapers’ more premium riflescope offering.
