Zero Compromise Optic 4-20x50 FFP

• 4-20x magnification range: This zoom span covers a wide spread of real shooting distances, giving the scope enough field of view for closer positional work while still providing the image scale needed for precise holds and shot placement farther out.
• First focal plane illuminated reticle: Because the reticle stays in proportion as magnification changes, holdovers and corrections remain consistent throughout the zoom range, which is especially useful for practical long-range and tactical shooting.
• Locking tactical turrets with Zero Stop: The turret system is built for frequent dialing, then returning quickly to a known zero. That makes elevation changes faster and reduces the chance of an accidental setting shift during transport or field movement.
• 36 mm main tube with 35 mrad elevation: The large adjustment range gives the scope more room for dialing at distance, while the 36 mm tube format supports the robust mechanical layout expected from a precision riflescope.
• 92% light transmission and fully multicoated lenses: High transmission and effective coatings help preserve contrast and target definition in poor light, making the image easier to read when conditions are less than ideal.

About the Zero Compromise Series

The Zero Compromise series is the core riflescope family from Zero Compromise Optic, built around a straightforward idea: combine a rugged mechanical system with optical performance suited to serious field and match use. In the manufacturer’s 2025 catalogue, the line includes the ZC420 and ZC527, covering the practical 4–20×50 and 5–27×56 formats that are widely used for long-range shooting, competition, and demanding hunting applications.

A common thread across the series is the use of a 36 mm main tube, first-focal-plane illuminated reticles, and side parallax adjustment. The range is offered with reticle options such as MPCT, MOA, and Tremor designs, with configuration depending on the model. Adjustment systems are listed in either 0.1-milliradian or 0.25-MOA formats, which places the series firmly in the precision shooting category rather than general-purpose sporting optics. The overall design philosophy favors repeatable dialing, broad adjustment travel, and reticle layouts that support holding for elevation and wind without giving up a clean sight picture.

About the Zero Compromise Optic 4-20x50 FFP

The Zero Compromise Optic 4-20x50 FFP is the more compact tactical riflescope format in the company’s line, pairing a 4-20x magnification range with a 50 mm objective lens and a relatively short 328.00 mm body. That combination makes it well suited to shooters who want a precision optic that still fits comfortably on rifles intended for practical field use, positional competition, or long-range hunting where overall length matters.

Its first focal plane reticle is designed for work across the full zoom range, so subtensions remain valid whether the shooter is using lower magnification for a wider view or turning up the image for more exact holds. Illumination is included, with red and blue settings and auto turn-off, which helps preserve battery life from the CR2032 power source while keeping the reticle easier to pick up in changing light. The side-focus parallax system adjusts from 25 m to infinity, allowing the image to be refined for both nearer targets and extended distances.

Mechanically, this model is configured for dialing. The lockable tactical turrets include a Zero Stop and provide 35.00 mrad of elevation and 20.00 mrad of windage adjustment, with 15 MRAD per turn on the elevation turret. In practice, that gives the shooter enough travel for substantial corrections while making it easier to return to a known baseline after multiple engagements. A 90.00 mm eye relief, nitrogen filling, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, and fully multicoated lenses round out a riflescope intended for hard use rather than occasional range sessions.

About Zero Compromise Optic

Zero Compromise Optic was founded in 2018 and focuses specifically on riflescope design and production. The company is based in Margarethen am Moos, Austria, where it develops and produces its optics, and it also maintains a North American operation in Orofino, Idaho. Its product range includes models such as the ZC420, ZC527, ZC840, ZC210 DMR, and ZC Hunter, reflecting a clear concentration on precision shooting, hunting optics, and long-range applications.

Within this category, the brand is known for a focused product line rather than a broad general optics catalogue. Notable elements in the range include the MPCT reticle family and AIM illumination management, the company’s automatic reticle illumination control system. That emphasis on reticle function, repeatable mechanics, and purpose-built riflescope formats has made Zero Compromise Optic a specialist name in tactical and long-range optics.
