Vomz Pilad P 6x42

• Fixed 6x magnification: A constant-power design keeps the sight picture consistent and avoids the extra moving parts of a variable scope, which suits straightforward hunting and sport-shooting setups.
• 42 mm objective lens: The larger front lens helps maintain a bright, usable image in fading light, making the scope practical for early-morning and late-evening field use.
• Second focal plane reticle: The reticle keeps the same apparent size across use, giving a familiar sight picture that many hunters prefer for quick target acquisition.
• Capped 1/4 MOA turrets: Protected adjustment caps help prevent accidental changes while carrying the rifle, which is useful on stalking rifles and general hunting setups.
• Shockproof and waterproof construction: A durable housing and sealed build support reliable use in rough weather and under recoil, reducing concern in demanding outdoor conditions.

About the Vomz Pilad P Series

The Vomz Pilad P series is a family of fixed-magnification riflescopes built for hunting and sport shooting. Within the Pilad range, the P-series focuses on simple optical layouts and dependable field use rather than variable-power complexity. VOMZ has offered these scopes in several magnifications, including 3.5x, 4x, 8x, 10x and 12x, which shows the series is intended to cover everything from short-range moving targets to more deliberate shooting at longer distances.

A defining characteristic of the series is its fixed-power construction, which means fewer moving parts than a variable riflescope. In practice, that appeals to shooters who value mechanical simplicity, repeatable handling and a consistent sight picture. The series has also been offered with illuminated and non-illuminated reticles, as well as different mounting formats, so the Pilad P line serves a broad range of traditional hunting rifles and straightforward sporting setups. Across the series, the emphasis is on practical optics, familiar controls and a robust design philosophy suited to regular field carry.

About the Vomz Pilad P 6x42

The Vomz Pilad P 6x42 is a fixed 6x hunting riflescope that balances enough magnification for precise shot placement with handling that still feels natural on a general-purpose stalking rifle. This power level works well when the shooter wants more target detail than a low-power optic provides, but without the distraction of changing magnification in the field. Combined with its 42 mm objective lens, the scope is well suited to woodland edges, open fields and other situations where light can change quickly during the day.

The optical system uses multicoated lenses with 80 % light transmittance, helping preserve contrast and image brightness in practical hunting conditions. A 7.00 mm exit pupil supports comfortable viewing and makes eye placement less critical, which can help when shooting from improvised positions. The 85.00 mm eye relief gives useful clearance under recoil, while the -5 / +5 diopter adjustment allows the eyepiece to be tuned to the shooter’s eyesight.

This model uses a second focal plane reticle without illumination, a traditional arrangement that keeps the reticle visually consistent and uncluttered. Its capped turrets adjust in 1/4 MOA clicks, which suits zeroing and occasional corrections while protecting the settings from unintended movement during transport. With a 25.4 mm tube, 430.00 g weight and waterproof, shockproof construction, the Pilad P 6x42 remains a practical choice for shooters who want a straightforward fixed-power scope with durable field manners.
