Smartclip Modular Reduction Ring for Dedal (M52x0.75)

• M52×0.75 interface: built around the common Smartclip thread standard, this reduction ring lets a compatible thermal clip-on connect to a Dedal mounting format without changing the core adapter system.
• Modular conversion: the ring extends the flexibility of a Smartclip setup, making it easier to adapt existing clip-on equipment to a different mounting standard instead of replacing the whole adapter.
• Aluminium construction: the metal body keeps weight low while providing the rigidity needed for a secure, repeatable connection on hunting optics and thermal clip-on equipment.
• Compact accessory format: as a dedicated reduction ring rather than a full adapter, it adds the required interface with minimal extra bulk, helping preserve a tidy overall clip-on setup.
• Made for thermal clip-ons: this accessory is purpose-built for clip-on use, where correct fit between device and adapter matters for stable mounting and straightforward field handling.

About the Smartclip Accessories Series

Smartclip Accessories covers the supporting parts that make the brand’s clip-on mounting system more adaptable across different riflescopes and device standards. The series sits alongside the company’s core adapter lines and is intended for shooters who use night-vision and thermal clip-on devices and need a practical way to match them to existing equipment. Rather than focusing on one fixed configuration, the range is built around modularity, with products that support M52×0.75 connections, device-specific bayonet interfaces, and converter formats for other standards.

Across the series, the design philosophy is straightforward: keep the mounting solution precise, compact, and easy to integrate into a field rifle setup. The catalog includes AS, AS U.S.E., AS Long, PS, and converter variants, each aimed at a slightly different mounting requirement. Some versions prioritize minimal clearance between riflescope and barrel, while others increase contact area or adapt one mounting standard to another. In practice, the series is defined by compatibility-focused design, giving thermal and night-vision users a way to build a mounting arrangement around the device and riflescope they already own.

About the Smartclip Modular Reduction Ring for Dedal (M52x0.75)

The Smartclip Modular Reduction Ring for Dedal (M52x0.75) is a dedicated interface part for users who need to connect a Smartclip-based mounting system to a Dedal-compatible format. Its role is simple but important: it converts the connection point without forcing a change to the rest of the clip-on setup. That makes it a practical accessory for hunters and shooters who already use Smartclip components and want to integrate a thermal clip-on device that requires this specific standard.

The ring uses an aluminium body, which suits this kind of accessory well because it keeps the part light while maintaining the stiffness needed for a secure mechanical fit. In the field, that matters because clip-on systems work best when every connection point remains consistent and easy to handle. A modular reduction ring also helps keep the setup more efficient than replacing a complete adapter assembly, especially when the main goal is simply to bridge one mounting interface to another.

Because this model is made specifically for thermal clip-on applications, it fits naturally into hunting optics setups where users may run more than one device or need to match existing equipment to a different mounting standard. The M52×0.75 thread is widely used in clip-on mounting systems, so this ring serves as a focused conversion component within that ecosystem rather than a generic accessory.

About Smartclip

Smartclip is a Slovenian specialist in mounting solutions for night-vision and thermal imaging clip-on devices. The company, Smartclip d.o.o., was registered on 20 April 2018 and is based in Novo mesto, Slovenia. Its product range centers on adapter systems that help clip-on devices interface cleanly with riflescopes, with lines including AS, AS U.S.E., AS Long, and PS adapters.

The brand is particularly associated with the M52×0.75 standard, which it uses across much of its adapter range, while also offering converters for other mounting formats. Smartclip’s designs focus on practical mounting details such as compact fit, controlled clearance, and reduced operating noise through rubber at metal contact points. In this product category, the company’s reputation is built on dedicated clip-on compatibility solutions rather than general optics manufacturing, making it especially relevant to users assembling thermal or night-vision hunting optics systems.
