Shilba Flashlight P400

• 400-lumen LED output: Delivers a bright, concentrated beam for target identification and close-range work, giving a compact mounted light enough output for low-light defensive use.
• Compact pistol-light format: The short 61.50 mm body and 77.11 g weight keep bulk down on a handgun, helping preserve handling and reducing front-end heaviness.
• Beam focus adjustment: Lets the light be tuned for a tighter hotspot or a broader spill, which is useful when moving between indoor distances and more open spaces.
• Intensity switch: Adds direct control over output, making the light easier to adapt to different lighting conditions and helping manage glare at short range.
• Waterproof construction: Supports reliable use in rain, damp conditions, and general field carry where a mounted light needs to keep working despite exposure to moisture.

About the Shilba P400 Series

The Shilba P400 series is built around a simple idea: a compact weapon light for users who need practical illumination on a handgun without adding unnecessary size or weight. Within Shilba’s broader outdoor and shooting-oriented catalog, the P400 sits as a straightforward mounted-light option for close-range use, defensive setups, and general low-light handling. Its design priorities are compact dimensions, usable output, and controls that remain easy to access on a pistol platform.

Rather than focusing on oversized housings or complex electronics, the series emphasizes a LED light source, a short body profile, and user-adjustable beam behavior. That makes it suitable for shooters who want one light to cover indoor movement, routine range use, and general-purpose handgun mounting. The series also reflects a practical build philosophy: keep the light small enough for carry-oriented setups, but include features such as beam focus, an intensity switch, and waterproof construction so it remains adaptable in real use. In that sense, the P400 line fits well alongside sport optics and shooting accessories intended for dependable field use rather than specialized niche roles.

About the Shilba Flashlight P400

The Shilba Flashlight P400 is a pistol flashlight designed for shooters who want a compact mounted light that does not overwhelm the host handgun. Its 400.00 Lumen LED output is well suited to short- to medium-distance illumination, where the priority is identifying shapes, navigating low-light spaces, and keeping the sight picture usable without adding a large front-mounted accessory. Because the housing remains short and light, it is a sensible fit for compact or full-size handgun setups where balance matters.

What makes this model especially practical is the combination of beam focus and an intensity switch. Focus adjustment gives the user more control over how the beam behaves in the real world: a tighter beam helps concentrate light where more reach or definition is needed, while a broader pattern is more comfortable for room-distance awareness. The intensity control adds another layer of flexibility by helping adapt the light to reflective indoor surfaces or darker outdoor conditions.

Physically, the P400 keeps things simple and functional. Its 61.50 mm length, 40.00 mm width, and 77.11 g weight support a low-profile installation, while the black finish suits typical handgun and accessory setups. Power comes from a CR2 battery, and the waterproof construction adds reassurance for use in wet weather, range bags, or everyday carry conditions where moisture resistance is important.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960. The brand developed early around sporting optics, and in 1975 technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to work on a riflescope intended for hare hunting, an episode that helped shape Shilba’s later direction in shooting optics. In 1981, the owner of the Japanese factory sold the Shilba brand, its expertise, and its commercial contacts to the current owners, establishing the basis for the company as it is known today.

Shilba’s catalog covers riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and scope mounts and rings, reflecting a long-standing focus on practical optics for hunting and outdoor use. The company later expanded beyond its home market, beginning exports to neighboring Latin American countries in 2000 and starting commercial activity in Spain in 2004. That background gives the brand a clear identity in accessible field optics and shooting accessories.
