Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Glock

• LED-illuminated three-dot sight picture: The Mepro Evergreen system uses illuminated dots in the front and rear sights, giving a clear reference in both daylight and low light without relying on ambient light alone.
• Fixed sight setup: A fixed configuration keeps the sight picture consistent and durable, making it well suited to defensive carry, duty use, and regular range practice where reliability matters more than adjustment complexity.
• Dedicated Glock fit: Built specifically for Glock pistols, this sight set is designed to provide a familiar handgun profile and straightforward compatibility for common carry and service platforms.
• Metal sight construction: The black metal housings protect the illuminated elements and stand up better to holster wear, slide manipulation, and daily handling than more fragile alternatives.
• Long-running powered illumination: In the Evergreen series, the LED power system is designed for extended continuous operation, reducing maintenance concerns for shooters who want an always-ready sight picture.

About the Mepro Evergreen Series

Mepro Evergreen is Meprolight’s LED-illuminated pistol sight series for shooters who want a sight picture that remains easy to pick up in both bright and dim conditions. In Meprolight’s handgun-sight range, the series sits as a practical option for defensive pistols and everyday carry guns where fast visual indexing matters more than adjustment features. The concept is straightforward: provide an illuminated aiming reference that works on stationary and moving targets while keeping the handling and profile of a conventional pistol sight set.

The series uses LED light sources in the front and rear housings to create a three-dot sight picture, helping the eye align the pistol quickly when the target appears suddenly or lighting conditions change. Depending on the pistol model, Meprolight offers configurations with an illuminated front sight paired with a non-illuminated rear, or a full three-dot arrangement with a U-shaped or square-notch rear sight. The power source is designed to support five consecutive years of operation, which suits users who prefer a ready-to-use handgun sight without frequent battery attention. Overall, the Evergreen series focuses on quick acquisition, familiar sight geometry, and practical low-light usability for defensive and general shooting roles.

About the Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Glock

The Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Glock is a dedicated handgun night sight set built for shooters who want a familiar iron-sight presentation with active illumination. Its Glock-specific layout makes it a sensible choice for concealed-carry pistols, home-defense handguns, and service sidearms where immediate sight visibility can matter at close range and under time pressure. Because this is a fixed sight system, it favors ruggedness and consistency over user-adjustable settings, which is exactly what many shooters want on a defensive pistol.

The sight picture is based on an illuminated three-dot arrangement, giving the shooter a clear front-and-rear reference that remains visible across changing light conditions. In practical use, that helps speed up alignment when transitioning from outdoor light into darker interiors, or when shooting on dim indoor ranges. The black housing keeps the appearance subdued while protecting the sight bodies from the wear that comes with holster use and repeated slide cycling.

As part of the Mepro Evergreen family, this Glock version combines the handling of a conventional iron sight set with the convenience of powered illumination. That makes it especially relevant for users who prefer iron sights over slide-mounted optics, but still want better visibility than standard non-illuminated sights can offer. For defensive shooting, training, and general handgun use, it delivers a simple sighting system that is easy to understand and quick to acquire.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. It is a division of SK Group, and its product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, night-vision systems, and thermal devices.

This background is especially relevant in the handgun-sight category because Meprolight has long focused on durable sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. Its experience spans both simple mechanical sights and more advanced electro-optical products, which helps explain the company’s emphasis on practical aiming solutions that are built for hard use rather than range-only handling.
