Meprolight FT Bullseye for S&W M&P Shield-Green

• Single-sight bullseye aiming system: The Meprolight FT Bullseye combines the aiming reference into one compact front sight, so the eye finds the dot-and-ring picture quickly without aligning separate front and rear sights.
• Fiber optic and tritium illumination: A green sight picture stays visible in bright daylight and in low light, giving the pistol a consistent aiming reference without depending on batteries.
• Fixed aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps the sight robust for daily carry while the fixed design avoids accidental adjustment changes during holster use or hard handling.
• Concealed-carry friendly format: Built for the S&W M&P Shield, this sight keeps the handgun slim and snag-free, which suits defensive pistols carried close to the body.
• Battery-free operation: Because the FT Bullseye works without batteries, it is always ready on the pistol and does not add charging or power-management concerns to a defensive setup.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye Series

Meprolight FT Bullseye sits in Meprolight’s current handgun sights range as a compact alternative to conventional pistol sight sets. The series uses a combined fiber-optic and tritium illumination system, giving the shooter a bright daytime reference and a self-illuminated low-light sight picture without batteries. That makes the FT Bullseye family especially relevant for defensive pistols, where immediate readiness matters more than adjustment menus or electronic controls.

A defining trait of the series is its bullseye aiming concept. In the front-sight version, the shooter uses a single front unit rather than the traditional front-and-rear alignment, which can reduce visual clutter and speed up sight acquisition at close defensive distances. Meprolight positions these sights for concealed-carry and defensive handguns, with model-specific fitments for popular pistol platforms. The FT Bullseye family also includes front-sight and rear-sight versions, giving users different installation formats while keeping the same battery-free operating principle and compact carry-oriented design.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye for S&W M&P Shield-Green

The Meprolight FT Bullseye for S&W M&P Shield-Green is built around a different sighting approach from standard pistol irons. Instead of asking the shooter to line up a front blade inside a rear notch, it presents a single bullseye-style aiming reference in one compact unit. On a slim defensive pistol such as the S&W M&P Shield, that layout helps keep the draw clean and the sight picture simple, which is useful when the pistol is carried for personal defense and brought on target quickly.

The sight uses fiber optics for daylight and tritium for low-light use, so the aiming reference remains visible across changing light conditions without relying on batteries. That matters on a carry gun because the sight is always on and ready, with no brightness buttons or power settings to manage. The green sight color gives a clear focal point, while the outline alignment system is intended to help the eye center the aiming point quickly.

Its fixed aluminium construction favors durability and day-to-day practicality. A fixed sight is well suited to a compact pistol that is carried often, holstered frequently, and used at realistic handgun distances rather than tuned for target-style adjustment. The result is a compact handgun night sight that emphasizes readiness, low-light capability, and a simplified aiming process for the Shield platform.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. Its product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, magnifiers, night-vision systems, and thermal devices.

As a division of SK Group, Meprolight focuses on sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. That background is especially relevant in the handgun-sight category, where the company is known for self-illuminated tritium products and practical defensive sight designs. The FT Bullseye line reflects that approach by combining compact carry dimensions with battery-free illumination and a simplified sight picture for service and concealed-carry pistols.
