Leica Geovid Pro 8x32

• Integrated laser rangefinder: Measures from 10.00 m to 2300.00 m in as little as 0.3 s, giving fast distance data for hunting situations where there is little time to pause and re-check.
• Applied Ballistics and Bluetooth connectivity: The built-in ballistic software and Bluetooth link let the binocular work with personalized profiles, so ranging data becomes more useful for real shot decisions rather than a simple distance reading.
• Compact 8x32 format: The 8x magnification, 32.00 mm objectives, and 820.00 g weight make this model easier to carry on long stalks while still providing a steady image and practical low-light capability.
• Perger Porro prism optics: The Porro - Perger prism design supports strong depth perception, high contrast, and efficient light transmission, helping game stand out more clearly against complex backgrounds.
• Magnesium, nitrogen-filled housing: A magnesium body with waterproof, fogproof, and nitrogen-filled construction is built for changing weather, steep terrain, and repeated field use.

About the Geovid Pro Series

The Leica Geovid Pro series sits at the high end of Leica’s hunting binocular range, combining premium observation optics with a built-in laser rangefinder and onboard ballistic support. In Leica’s lineup, Geovid Pro models are intended for hunters who want one instrument to cover glassing, ranging, angle measurement, and shot-relevant data without carrying separate devices. That makes the series especially well suited to stalking, mountain hunting, and mixed terrain where speed and pack efficiency matter.

Geovid Pro binoculars are defined by their integration of laser distance measurement, Applied Ballistics, and Bluetooth connectivity in a weather-sealed magnesium body. The range includes different objective sizes and magnification options, allowing users to choose between wider field of view, lower weight, or more reach depending on terrain and hunting style. Across the series, Leica pairs compact mechanical design with high-transmission optics, practical eye relief, and durable exterior protection for field use in wet, cold, or dusty conditions. The result is a family of rangefinding binoculars built around fast observation, reliable ranging, and efficient decision-making in the field.

About the Leica Geovid Pro 8x32

The Leica Geovid Pro 8x32 is the compact, fast-handling version of the Geovid Pro concept. Its 8x magnification gives a steadier image than higher-power alternatives, which is useful when glassing from unsupported positions or scanning woodland edges, broken ground, and mountain slopes for movement. Combined with a 32.00 mm objective lens and a 135.00 m/1000m field of view, it balances portability with enough image scale and width for active hunting where targets appear and disappear quickly.

The integrated rangefinder measures from 10.00 m to 2300.00 m and returns readings in around 0.3 s, so the binocular can move quickly from observation to distance confirmation. The internal display keeps the information in the viewing channel, while the inclinometer, scan mode, and ballistic software add practical value when shooting angles and changing distances matter. Bluetooth connectivity extends that further by allowing ballistic data exchange with compatible devices and apps.

Optically, the Porro - Perger prism system, 91% light transmission, 4.00 mm exit pupil, and 16.00 mm eye relief support a bright, comfortable image with good depth impression and practical usability for eyeglass wearers. The AquaDura lens coating helps shed water and dirt, while the magnesium open-bridge housing keeps the binocular light, rigid, and secure in the hand. With waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen-filled construction and tripod adaptability, this model is built for hunters who want premium rangefinding binoculars in a smaller format.

About Leica

Leica Camera AG traces its history to 1869, when Ernst Leitz took over Carl Kellner’s Optical Institute in Wetzlar. The company remains headquartered in Wetzlar, Germany, and its product portfolio spans cameras, lenses, and sports optics. Within sport optics, Leica produces binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, and rangefinders, with a long-standing emphasis on optical quality and compact mechanical design.

Leica’s Geovid line is especially important in this category because it brought together binocular viewing and laser distance measurement in one device. Leica introduced the Geovid, the first binoculars with an integrated rangefinder, in 1992. That background is directly relevant to the Geovid Pro series, which continues Leica’s focus on combining observation optics with ranging technology for hunting and field use.
