Leica Geovid Pro 10x32 Product description

  • Integrated Class 1 Laser Rangefinder up to 2,300 m: The built-in Class 1 laser measures distances to approximately 2,300 metres with high accuracy — ±0.5 m at distances up to 200 m and ±1.0 m between 200 and 400 m — in a single measurement time of under 0.3 seconds. The rangefinder also calculates and displays the equivalent horizontal range (EHR), accounting for incline angle, which is essential for accurate shot placement on steep terrain.
  • Applied Ballistics® Software On Board: The pre-installed Applied Ballistics Ultralight® software calculates holdover corrections up to 800 metres, using the binocular's built-in environmental sensors for barometric pressure, temperature, and angle. An upgrade to Applied Ballistics Elite® extends the ballistic calculation range to the full 2,300 m measurement distance. Corrected values are displayed directly in the field of view immediately after ranging.
  • 10× Magnification with Perger-Porro Prism Optics: The 10× magnification and 32mm objective lenses are combined with Leica's Perger-Porro prism system, which routes the light path similarly to a traditional Porro prism to minimise internal reflections and maximise depth of field, while maintaining the compact straight-line profile of a roof prism design. Light transmission of 91% is achieved through HDC® multilayer coatings and AquaDura® lens protection on all external surfaces.
  • Compact Magnesium Chassis for Alpine Hunting: The open-bridge dual-hinge body is constructed from magnesium alloy, providing structural rigidity without unnecessary weight. At 870 g and dimensions of 130 × 153 × 70 mm, the Geovid Pro 10x32 is the most compact and lightweight model in the Geovid Pro range, specifically suited to mountain hunting, stalking, and any application where minimising carried weight is essential.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity and Leica ProTrack GPS Integration: The built-in Bluetooth® interface connects to the Leica Ballistics App for transferring customised ballistic profiles, pairing with Kestrel® weather stations for real-time wind and environmental data, and connecting to Garmin® GPS devices via Applied Ballistics External Mode. The integrated Leica ProTrack GPS function records exact coordinates of the ranging position using Basemap integration, supporting game recovery after a shot.

About the Geovid Pro Series

The Leica Geovid Pro series represents the current generation of Leica's rangefinding binoculars, combining high-quality optics with a precise laser rangefinder and an integrated ballistic solver in a single compact instrument. The series is designed for hunters who require both optical observation and accurate ballistic data from one tool, without carrying separate rangefinding and binocular equipment.

All Geovid Pro models feature Leica's Perger-Porro prism system, which combines the compactness of a roof prism layout with the optical characteristics of a traditional Porro prism path, delivering high depth of field and minimised internal light loss. External lens surfaces are protected by HDC® multilayer coatings for maximum light transmission and AquaDura® water-repellent coating for reliable performance in rain and adverse conditions. A light transmission of 91% is consistent across all models in the series.

The defining feature of the Geovid Pro series is the integration of Applied Ballistics® software — pre-installed in Ultralight form and upgradeable to Elite — combined with built-in sensors for barometric pressure, temperature, and angle of inclination. This allows the binocular to calculate precise holdover and wind correction values in real time, displayed directly in the field of view after each ranging measurement. Bluetooth® connectivity supports pairing with the Leica Ballistics App, Kestrel® weather meters, and Garmin® GPS devices.

The Geovid Pro series is currently available in three configurations: 8×32 and 10×32 for compact mountain and stalking use, and 8×42 for hunters who prefer a larger objective lens for enhanced low-light performance. Both the 8×32 and 10×32 are also available in an olive green finish.

About the Model (Leica Geovid Pro 10x32)

The Leica Geovid Pro 10x32 is the highest-magnification compact model in the Geovid Pro series, designed for hunters who require precise target identification at greater distances without sacrificing the compact size needed for active mountain and alpine hunting. The 10× magnification provides a meaningful advantage over 8× models for identifying game and trophy quality at extended distances, while the 32mm objective lens and Perger-Porro prism system maintain image brightness and optical quality within the compact overall dimensions.

The field of view of 115 metres at 1,000 metres — or 345 feet at 1,000 yards — is combined with an eye relief of 16 mm and 4 click-stop adjustable eyecups, making the binocular practical for use with or without eyeglasses. The close focus distance of approximately 5 metres extends usability to close-range identification, which is relevant for bow hunting and driven hunting situations where targets may appear at short range. The central focus wheel provides smooth, precise adjustment, and the dioptre compensation of ±4 dpt. accommodates a broad range of users.

The integrated Class 1 laser rangefinder measures to approximately 2,300 metres, with EHR output for compensated flat-range distance on inclined terrain. Ballistic data is calculated on-board by Applied Ballistics Ultralight® using integrated sensors for pressure, temperature, and inclination angle, and displayed in the field of view in real time. The upgrade to Applied Ballistics Elite® extends the ballistic solution range to the full measurement distance and provides access to an expanded projectile library. Bluetooth connectivity supports pairing with the Leica Ballistics App, Kestrel® devices for real-time wind data, and Garmin® GPS units. The integrated Leica ProTrack GPS function records the position of the shot for game recovery assistance via Basemap integration.

The body is constructed from magnesium alloy with a rubber armour exterior, nitrogen-filled and sealed to 5 metres water resistance. Battery life is approximately 2,000 measurements at 20°C from a single CR2 battery. Overall weight is 870 g without battery, and dimensions are 130 × 153 × 70 mm.

About Leica

Leica Camera AG is a German optical and camera manufacturer with roots dating to 1849, when Carl Kellner established the Optisches Institut in Wetzlar, Germany. Under Ernst Leitz, the company grew into one of the world's leading precision optical manufacturers, producing microscopes, cameras, binoculars, riflescopes, rangefinders, and spotting scopes. The Leica camera — developed by Oskar Barnack and first publicly shown at the Leipzig Spring Fair in 1927 — helped establish the company as a benchmark for precision optical and mechanical engineering.

Today, Leica Camera AG manufactures and assembles its products at two sites: the primary facility at Leitz-Park in Wetzlar, Germany, and a production site in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. The sport optics range includes rangefinding binoculars, riflescopes, red dot sights, laser rangefinders, spotting scopes, and binoculars. Leica's sport optics products are characterised by proprietary technologies including HDC® multilayer lens coatings, AquaDura® water-repellent coating, and — in the Geovid Pro series — integration of Applied Ballistics® software developed specifically for hunting and precision shooting applications.
