Hikmicro Thunder TE25 2.0

• 12 μm thermal sensor: The 256x192 detector with a 12.00 μm pixel pitch gives the Hikmicro Thunder TE25 2.0 a compact optical system while still delivering enough detail for confident target recognition at practical hunting distances.
• 25 mm F1.0 objective lens: A fast F1.0 aperture helps the scope collect more thermal energy, which supports a clearer image in poor weather and during temperature transitions at dawn, dusk, and night.
• 1024×768 OLED display: The high-resolution OLED screen presents thermal detail with strong contrast, making it easier to read the scene, distinguish heat sources, and use the scope for longer sessions with less visual strain.
• 10-hour battery life: Long runtime from the replaceable rechargeable Li-ion power system reduces interruptions in the field and makes the scope more practical for extended evening hunts or patrol use.
• Recording and WiFi connectivity: Built-in photo and video capture, video output, and WiFi let the user document sightings, review shots, and share footage without adding external accessories.

About the Hikmicro Thunder Series

Hikmicro Thunder is a thermal scope family built around uncooled thermal imaging sensors and OLED displays, giving hunters and field users a dedicated thermal aiming platform rather than a general-purpose observation device. HIKMICRO introduced the THUNDER 2.0 line on April 12, 2023 as an update to the earlier THUNDER 1.0 series, with the range covering several sensor and lens combinations for different distances and use cases. Across the series, the design focuses on practical thermal shooting tasks such as hunting and search and rescue, with onboard tools that support real field use rather than bench-only operation.

Typical THUNDER 2.0 models combine compact housing dimensions with multiple thermal image palettes, selectable flat-field correction modes, onboard video recording, and snapshot capture. That makes the series suitable for users who need a thermal riflescope that can adapt to changing backgrounds, temperature conditions, and target contrast. Within the lineup, models differ in sensor resolution, lens size, and reach, so the series covers everything from shorter-range woodland work to longer-range open-ground observation and shooting. The common thread is a straightforward thermal scope format that keeps the controls, display system, and recording functions focused on field usability.

About the Hikmicro Thunder TE25 2.0

The Hikmicro Thunder TE25 2.0 is a compact thermal riflescope built for users who want a dedicated thermal sight with a practical balance of image scale, portability, and runtime. Its 3.25 x base magnification gives a more focused view than a true 1x-style thermal optic, which helps when identifying heat signatures more precisely at medium distances. Combined with a 25.00 mm objective lens and a 1200.00 m detection range, the scope is well suited to night hunting and general thermal observation where early detection matters as much as the shot itself.

The thermal core uses a 256x192 sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch and 35.00 mK NETD. In practice, that means the scope is tuned to show useful heat contrast in damp air, light fog, and other difficult night-time conditions where small temperature differences can otherwise be harder to separate. The 50.00 Hz refresh rate helps keep movement looking natural when scanning or tracking live targets, while the 1024×768 OLED display gives a crisp viewing image with strong perceived contrast.

This model also emphasizes field practicality. The 10 reticle options allow the sight picture to be matched to different shooting preferences, and the built-in photo recording, video recording, and video output functions make it easier to document use or review results later. With WiFi connectivity, up to 10.00 h of battery life, and a compact 219.00 mm, 494.00 g body, the TE25 2.0 remains easy to carry on a hunting rifle without adding unnecessary bulk.

About Hikmicro

HIKMICRO was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company specializes in thermal imaging and also works with visible-light imaging, ultrasonic technology, electromagnetic technology, and radar. In the outdoor optics segment, its range includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal clip-ons, digital day-and-night scopes, and multispectrum binoculars, showing a clear focus on electro-optical products for field use.

Within that lineup, THUNDER and STELLAR are HIKMICRO thermal scope families, while ALPEX covers digital day-and-night vision scopes and HABROK serves the multispectrum binocular category. The company’s 2023 outdoor brochure notes the release of 12 μm thermal detectors in 256×192, 384×288, and 640×512 resolutions in 2020, which is relevant to the compact thermal architecture used across many of its outdoor devices. HIKMICRO has built its reputation around dedicated thermal imaging products that combine compact hardware with practical recording and display functions for hunting and observation.
