Hawke Endurance ED 10x32 Product description

  • 10× Magnification for Extended-Range Detail: The 10× magnification provides greater image scale than the 8×32 model for more detailed subject identification at distance — relevant for birding, wildlife observation, and hunting where the additional resolving power of 10× supports accurate identification of fine detail. The field of view of 112 metres at 1,000 metres and apparent field of view of 64° are broad for a 10×32, providing a comfortable sight picture for extended scanning despite the higher power.
  • Extra-Low Dispersion Glass with Phase Corrected BAK-4 Roof Prisms: The Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass reduces chromatic aberration and colour fringing on high-contrast subjects at 10× magnification — where colour correction is more critical than at lower powers as the higher image scale also amplifies any optical shortcomings. The phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated lenses maintain resolution and contrast across the full aperture.
  • Exceptionally Close Focus at 1.2 Metres: The minimum focus distance of 1.2 metres is one of the closest available in any 10×32 binocular, extending usability to very close-range subjects — insects, flora, close-perched birds — without requiring repositioning. This makes the 10×32 a practical dual-purpose optic for both distance observation and close-range nature observation in the same outing.
  • Compact and Practical Format at 635g: At 635 g and 103–121 mm wide × 138 mm high — identical dimensions to the 8×32 model — the 10×32 provides 10× capability in the same compact, manageable package. This makes it well suited to extended carry during hunting, hiking, and birding without the added weight of a full-size 10×42.
  • Waterproof and Fogproof with Tripod Thread and Stay-On Covers: The body is nitrogen purged, waterproof, and fogproof with a high-grip rubber exterior. The twist-up eyecups with position stops and 15mm of eye relief accommodate both bare-eyed and eyeglass-wearing users. A built-in ¼"-20 UNC tripod mounting thread enables tripod use — particularly useful at 10× where image stability benefits from a fixed support during extended observation.

About the Endurance ED Binocular Series

The Endurance ED series is Hawke's mid-tier binocular range, built on the H5 optical system and positioned between the entry-level Nature-Trek and Vantage series and the flagship Frontier ED X above it. The series is designed for hunters, birders, and nature observers who want Extra-Low Dispersion glass and phase-corrected prisms in a practical, field-ready package at an accessible price point.

All Endurance ED models feature ED glass, phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms, fully multi-coated lenses, nitrogen purging, waterproof and fogproof sealing, twist-up eyecups with position stops, stay-on lens covers, and a built-in ¼"-20 UNC tripod mounting thread. The series spans 8×32, 10×32, 8×42, 10×42, 10×50, and 12×50 configurations, covering the full range of typical hunting, birding, and nature observation requirements.

About the Model (Hawke Endurance ED 10x32 — Green)

The Hawke Endurance ED 10x32 is a compact binocular designed for birders, hunters, and nature observers who prefer 10× magnification for more detailed subject identification at distance while retaining the compact dimensions and manageable weight of the 32mm objective format. The 10× magnification delivers a field of view of 112 metres at 1,000 metres and an apparent field of view of 64° — broader than many 10×32 binoculars in this class — providing a comfortable, wide sight picture for scanning and tracking.

The ED glass lens elements reduce chromatic aberration and colour fringing at the higher image scale of 10×, while the phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated lenses maintain resolution across the full field. The exit pupil of 3.2mm supports adequate image brightness in typical outdoor lighting conditions. The minimum focus distance of 1.2 metres is one of the closest in the 10×32 class, extending usability to close-range subjects that would be out of focus range for most binoculars at this specification.

At 635 g and 103–121 mm wide × 138 mm high — identical to the 8×32 — the 10×32 is equally suited to extended carry during hunting, hiking, and birding. The body is nitrogen purged, waterproof, and fogproof with a high-grip rubber exterior. The twist-up eyecups with position stops and 15mm of eye relief accommodate both bare-eyed and eyeglass-wearing users. The built-in ¼"-20 UNC tripod mounting thread supports use on a tripod. Stay-on objective lens covers remain attached during use.
