EOTech Vudu 5-25x50

• Compact 5-25x format: The short 285 mm body gives this long-range riflescope the reach of a full-size precision optic while leaving more rail space for clip-on night vision or thermal devices.
• First focal plane reticle: The reticle scales with magnification, so holdovers and ranging references stay true throughout the zoom range for faster corrections at changing distances.
• Locking tactical turrets with zero stop: Push/pull locking turrets help prevent accidental movement, while the zero stop makes it quick to return to a known zero after dialing elevation.
• Daylight-bright illuminated reticle: Red illumination improves reticle visibility against dark targets and complex backgrounds without giving up a precise aiming point.
• Built for hard field use: Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction supports reliable performance in changing weather, rough transport and repeated recoil.

About the EOTech Vudu Series

The EOTech Vudu series was introduced in 2016 as the company’s precision riflescope line, positioned for shooters who need magnified optics for professional, tactical and precision-shooting roles. Within the EOTech lineup, Vudu models sit as duty-oriented scopes that combine practical field durability with reticle systems suited to measured holds, dialing and longer-distance shot placement.

The series uses glass-etched reticles and is offered with patterns in MOA, MRAD and Horus layouts, with illuminated center aiming elements available on selected models. The lineup includes both first focal plane and second focal plane configurations, allowing shooters to choose between constant subtension accuracy through the zoom range or a fixed reticle appearance. Mechanically, Vudu scopes use single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tubes with anodized finishes, while nitrogen purging and O-ring sealing support dependable use in adverse weather. The result is a family of riflescopes aimed at competition, big-game hunting and precision field work, with an emphasis on repeatable adjustments, compact packaging and optical layouts that balance magnification with practical handling.

About the EOTech Vudu 5-25x50

The EOTech Vudu 5-25x50 is built for shooters who want long-range magnification in a notably compact riflescope. Its 5-25x zoom range covers everything from closer positional work to precise target engagement at extended distance, while the 50 mm objective supports a useful balance of image brightness and manageable overall size. Because the scope is only 285 mm long, it fits well on short-action precision rifles and leaves room for clip-on night vision or thermal units in front of the optic.

This model uses a first focal plane illuminated reticle, which keeps reticle subtensions consistent at every magnification setting. In practice, that means holdovers, wind references and ranging marks remain valid whether the shooter is working at mid power or fully zoomed in. The red illumination helps the aiming point stand out against dark backgrounds, and the fast-focus eyepiece speeds up reticle sharpening when moving between users or shooting positions.

Its turret system is set up for precision dialing in the field. Locking tactical turrets reduce the chance of accidental adjustment during movement, while the EZ Chek Zero Stop design supports a fast return to zero after elevation corrections. Side-focus parallax adjustment from 13 m to infinity helps keep the target and reticle on the same focal plane across a wide range of distances, which is especially useful for small targets and exact shot placement. Combined with waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction, this scope is well suited to precision shooting, tactical use and demanding hunting applications.

About Eotech

EOTECH was created in 1995 as a subsidiary of the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, with roots tied to ERIM, which was established in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1972. The company is headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan and is best known for weapon optics developed for fast, practical use in professional and sporting roles.

EOTECH introduced its first Holographic Weapon Sight at SHOT Show in 1996 in partnership with Bushnell, and its holographic sights have been designed, developed and manufactured in the United States since 1995. The company expanded into magnified precision optics with the Vudu line in 2016, bringing its focus on rugged field use into the riflescope category. More recently, EOTECH broadened its electro-optics capability by acquiring Intevac’s Photonics division in 2022, adding digital sensor and night-vision expertise alongside its established sighting systems.
