DAA Range Companion Backpack

• Cordura Outer Material: The Cordura shell gives the backpack the abrasion resistance needed for regular range use, helping it stand up to rough benches, vehicle floors and repeated loading without wearing through quickly.
• Backpack Carry Format: Shoulder straps and a carry handle make it easier to move a full load of shooting gear while keeping both hands free for firearms cases, ammunition or match equipment.
• Six-Pocket Layout: Multiple external storage areas help separate magazines, ear protection, tools and small accessories, so essential items are easier to find instead of collecting in one large compartment.
• Waterproof and Shockproof Construction: The bag is built to cope with damp conditions and the knocks of transport, which helps protect range gear during travel and everyday handling.
• Purpose-Built for Range Transport: Designed for gear transportation and handgun transportation, the pack suits practical shooting use where organized storage and quick access matter as much as carrying comfort.

About the Range Companion Series

The Range Companion line is part of Double Alpha Academy’s practical shooting equipment range, aimed at competitors and regular range users who need a more organized way to carry pistols, magazines, ammunition and support gear. In the brand’s lineup, these bags sit alongside belts, holsters, pouches and other match-focused accessories, so the design emphasis is on range efficiency rather than general travel use. That makes the series especially relevant to IPSC, USPSA and Steel Challenge shooters who often move a large amount of equipment between the car, the safe area and the firing line.

What distinguishes the series is its focus on durable materials, practical compartmentalization and carry comfort for heavy loads. Instead of treating storage as an afterthought, the Range Companion concept centers on keeping shooting gear separated, protected and easy to reach during training days or matches. Backpack-style carry is particularly useful when a shooter also needs to manage additional cases or ammunition, while reinforced fabrics and weather-resistant construction are better suited to repeated outdoor use than ordinary daypacks. The result is a range bag family built around the routines of competition shooting.

About the DAA Range Companion Backpack

The DAA Range Companion Backpack is a dedicated shooting backpack for users who want the portability of a pack with the organization of a range bag. Its 500.00 mm length, 420.00 mm width and 220.00 mm height give it a substantial carrying volume for range essentials, while the backpack format spreads weight more evenly than a single-strap bag when the load includes ammunition, magazines, eye and ear protection, tools and handgun-related equipment. That makes it particularly practical for match days and longer training sessions where gear has to be carried across parking areas or between stages.

The use of Cordura as the outer material is important in this category because range bags are regularly dragged across rough surfaces, packed tightly into vehicles and exposed to dirt, dust and repeated abrasion. Combined with waterproof and shockproof construction, it helps the bag cope with the hard use typical of shooting environments while adding a measure of protection for the equipment inside. The six-pocket arrangement supports a more disciplined packing system, allowing smaller items to stay separated and easier to access. A zipper closure, carry handle and shoulder straps complete a layout that is straightforward, practical and well suited to gear transportation and handgun transportation without unnecessary bulk or complication.
