GPS Handgunner Backpack

• Foam Cradle for 4 Handguns: The removable internal cradle keeps up to four pistols separated and protected during transport, and it can be taken out as a unit for easier bench setup, cleaning, or storage in a gun safe.
• Visual I.D. Storage System: Color-coded organization helps keep magazines, tools, eye and ear protection, and other range essentials easy to identify, which saves time and reduces clutter when moving between firing points.
• Twin Magazine Pockets: The side pockets hold extra magazines on both sides, keeping reloads close at hand while leaving the main compartment free for handguns and bulkier gear.
• Pull-Out Rain Cover: An integrated rain cover adds weather protection when conditions change suddenly, helping keep firearms, ammunition, and accessories dry on the way to and from the range.
• Lockable Heavy-Duty Zippers: Robust zippers improve durability under frequent use and add a practical layer of security for transport and storage.

About the Handgunner Series

The G.P.S. Handgunner series is built for shooters who need a more structured way to carry pistols, magazines, ammunition, and range accessories in one pack. Positioned within the brand’s Wild About Shooting range, these backpacks focus on organized handgun transport rather than general outdoor carry. The series combines a dedicated firearm-storage layout with the company’s Visual I.D. System, which is designed to keep commonly used items separated, visible, and easy to reach.

A defining feature of the series is its use of a removable foam handgun cradle. Instead of letting pistols shift inside a large open compartment, the cradle keeps them protected and arranged in a way that suits regular range use. The overall design philosophy is practical: hands-free carry, fast access to magazines and accessories, and enough structure to keep gear from becoming disorganized during transport. In use, that makes the Handgunner concept especially relevant for range sessions, training days, and shooters who carry multiple handguns with supporting equipment.

About the GPS Handgunner Backpack

The GPS Handgunner Backpack is a dedicated shooting backpack designed around secure handgun transport and efficient range organization. Its main advantage is the removable foam cradle for 4 handguns, which keeps pistols separated and protected instead of stacked together with other equipment. For shooters who bring multiple handguns to training or qualification sessions, that layout makes packing more orderly and reduces the chance of finish wear or shifting during travel.

Beyond firearm storage, the backpack is arranged to support the rhythm of a range day. Twin side pockets provide space for extra magazines, keeping reloads accessible without crowding the main compartment. The Visual I.D. storage system helps organize smaller accessories so tools, hearing protection, and other essentials are easier to locate quickly. This is especially useful when moving between benches or working from a crowded firing line, where time spent searching through loose gear becomes a distraction.

The pack also addresses field durability in practical ways. A pull-out rain cover adds protection in wet conditions, while the lockable heavy-duty zippers are better suited to repeated loading and unloading than lighter everyday-bag hardware. With shoulder-carry convenience, weather protection, and a layout tailored to handgun shooters, this model works well for transporting pistols, magazines, ammunition, and support gear in one structured system.

About G.P.S.

G•Outdoors, Inc. was founded in 2002 and focuses on storage products for shooting and hunting equipment. The company is closely associated with its GPS Storage System, a proprietary approach to organizing shooting accessories inside backpacks and range bags so gear is easier to sort and retrieve. That emphasis on structured storage is a defining part of the brand’s identity in categories such as firearm cases, tactical backpacks, and range bags.

The company lists its business location in Irving, Texas, United States, and its product range includes lines such as GPS Tactical, Wild About Hunting, and Wild About Shooting. Its bags and cases are also known for the Visual I.D. System, which helps shooters organize accessories more efficiently. In 2020, GPS Bags was acquired by GSM Outdoors, expanding the brand within a broader portfolio of hunting and shooting equipment.
