C-More SlideRide Red Dot Sight Product description

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Open Heads-Up Display: The 29 mm glass lens and open reflex design provide an unobstructed viewing area, allowing shooters to maintain peripheral awareness and acquire targets quickly.
  • Interchangeable Red Dot Modules: The standard 8 MOA aiming dot can be replaced with other available diode modules, allowing the sight to be adapted to different shooting applications and preferences.
  • Continuous Brightness Adjustment: The standard dial rheostat provides continuously variable red dot intensity, allowing the shooter to adjust brightness according to ambient lighting conditions.
  • Dual Positive Locking System: Independent locking screws secure the windage and elevation adjustments, helping the sight maintain its zero during repeated recoil and intensive use.
  • Aluminium Construction and Flexible Mounting: The durable aluminium housing supports direct attachment to compatible firearms and custom mounting platforms, making the sight suitable for specialized shooting configurations.

ABOUT THE C-MORE SLIDERIDE SERIES

The C-More SlideRide series consists of open reflex red dot sights designed for competitive shooting, customized firearms, and applications requiring a direct mounting solution. Originally developed for installation on Glock pistol slides, the SlideRide platform has also become a practical option for firearms equipped with custom or aftermarket mounting systems.

Unlike the C-More Railway series, which incorporates a rail mounting base, SlideRide sights feature a housing designed for direct attachment to suitable mounting surfaces. This configuration allows the sight to be installed on compatible custom mounts or specially prepared firearms without the additional height of an integrated rail base.

The series uses C-More's characteristic Heads-Up Display (HUD) optical design, which combines an open viewing area with a highly visible illuminated red dot. This arrangement allows shooters to acquire the aiming point while maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment, making it particularly useful in dynamic shooting disciplines.

SlideRide sights are available with either polymer or aluminium housings and with two different brightness adjustment systems. Standard models use a continuously adjustable dial rheostat, while Click Switch versions provide defined intensity positions.

Another distinguishing feature is the interchangeable diode module system, which allows users to select different red dot sizes. Combined with the dual positive locking adjustment mechanism, this makes the SlideRide platform adaptable to a variety of shooting requirements.

ABOUT THE C-MORE SLIDERIDE RED DOT SIGHT (ASRS)

The C-More SlideRide ASRS Red Dot Sight is an open reflex sight featuring an aluminium housing, a standard brightness adjustment switch, and a mounting configuration intended for customized firearms. It is particularly suitable for competitive shooting applications where rapid target acquisition, a clearly visible aiming point, and flexible mounting options are important.

The sight features a 29 mm glass lens incorporated into C-More's open Heads-Up Display design. Unlike conventional tube-style red dot sights, this configuration minimizes visual obstruction around the aiming area and allows the shooter to maintain peripheral awareness. The non-magnifying optical system supports shooting with both eyes open, which is especially useful when engaging multiple targets or transitioning between shooting positions.

The ASRS comes with a standard 8 MOA illuminated red dot, providing a prominent aiming reference that can be located quickly during dynamic shooting. The sight also supports interchangeable diode modules, allowing the dot size to be changed according to individual preferences. Available module sizes include 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 16 MOA. Smaller dots are suitable for more precise aiming, while larger dots provide increased visibility during rapid target acquisition.

Brightness is controlled through a standard dial rheostat, which provides continuous adjustment rather than fixed brightness positions. This allows the intensity of the illuminated dot to be matched to different lighting environments, from indoor ranges to bright outdoor conditions.

The ASRS incorporates C-More's dual positive locking system for windage and elevation adjustments. The adjustment screws allow continuous positioning within the available adjustment range, while separate locking screws secure the selected settings. This mechanical arrangement helps maintain a consistent zero during repeated shooting and recoil.

The sight uses a 3V lithium battery, compatible with Duracell DL1/3N or Energizer 2L76 batteries. The manufacturer specifies a battery operating life of approximately 300 to 1,500 hours, depending on the selected brightness intensity.

The aluminium housing provides a rigid construction suitable for repeated firearm use. Measuring 121.9 mm in length, 31.75 mm in width, and 49.5 mm in overall height, the ASRS weighs approximately 127.5 grams. Its black finish provides a neutral appearance suitable for different firearm configurations.

For installation, the ASRS is designed to attach directly to compatible flat mounting surfaces using two mounting screws. This makes it suitable for custom and aftermarket mounts as well as properly prepared firearms. The absence of an integrated rail base allows greater flexibility when configuring the sight for specific shooting applications.
