UTG KIS Gun Case, 71 cm

• Compact 28 in format: The UTG KIS Gun Case, 71 cm is sized for shorter rifles and carbines, making transport easier in vehicles, around the range, and in storage where a full-length case would be unnecessarily bulky.
• Padded main compartment: The case combines a soft-sided design with a padded interior, helping protect the firearm from knocks and surface wear during routine transport and handling.
• Water-resistant polyester construction: Its 100% polyester outer shell with water-repellent treatment helps shed light rain and dampness, which is useful when moving gear between the field, vehicle, and indoor storage.
• Practical carry options: A shoulder strap and carry handle give flexibility when moving equipment over short or longer distances, so the case adapts to both quick range trips and more mobile use.
• External storage pockets: The two front pockets keep small accessories, documents, or maintenance items separate from the firearm, reducing clutter inside the main compartment and keeping essentials close at hand.

About the KIS Series

The UTG KIS Series is built around a straightforward long-gun transport concept: keep the case light, practical, and easy to handle while still providing the protection needed for regular range and field use. In the UTG soft-goods lineup, the series sits as a simple, compact option for shooters who want a dedicated rifle case without the extra bulk of larger tactical bags or heavily compartmentalized packs. The emphasis is on durable polyester construction, padded firearm protection, and a layout that supports quick loading and uncomplicated carry.

Across the series, the design philosophy favors useful essentials over unnecessary complexity. Water-resistant outer materials, zippered accessory pockets, and multiple carry points make these cases suitable for routine firearm transportation, whether the application is hunting equipment storage, range travel, or general protective handling. The KIS format also suits users who prefer a slimmer profile that stores more easily in closets, safes, or vehicles. In practical terms, the series is defined by compact external dimensions, soft-case portability, and a simple organization scheme that keeps the firearm protected while leaving room for the small accessories most often carried alongside it.

About the UTG KIS Gun Case, 71 cm

The UTG KIS Gun Case, 71 cm is a compact soft gun case intended for the transport of shorter rifles and similar long guns that do not require a full-length bag. Its 711.00 mm length keeps the package manageable in tight spaces, which is especially useful when loading into a vehicle, moving through indoor ranges, or storing equipment where every centimeter matters. For users who want a case that protects the firearm without adding unnecessary size, this format is a practical fit.

The outer shell is made from 100% polyester and is described as water repellent, helping the case cope with damp ground, light rain, and general day-to-day exposure during transport. Combined with its shockproof construction, that makes it better suited to routine handling than a basic unpadded sleeve. The zippered design keeps access simple, while the soft-sided build remains lighter and easier to stow than a rigid case.

For day-to-day usability, this UTG gun bag includes a carry handle, an adjustable shoulder strap, and 2 pockets for accessories. That layout allows the firearm to stay separate from smaller items such as documents, tools, or other essentials, while still keeping everything in one case. At 862.00 g, it remains light enough for convenient carry, making it well suited to routine range transport, storage, and general protective handling of a compact long gun.

About UTG

Leapers, Inc., the company behind UTG, was founded in Michigan in 1992. The brand grew from a shooting-accessories background and developed into a broad maker of optics and support equipment for hunting and shooting sports. UTG’s catalog includes riflescopes, scope rings, mounts, bipods, and related accessories, which reflects a strong focus on practical field and range equipment rather than a narrow single-product specialization.

Over time, Leapers expanded its technical capabilities with a UTG optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan established in 2018, and later introduced the INTEGRIX premium optics brand in 2022. This combination of long-standing product development and in-house optics expertise helps explain UTG’s reputation for functional, user-focused designs. For soft goods such as gun cases, that same approach shows in straightforward construction, practical layouts, and features intended for regular transport and storage use.
