UTG AK47 Combat Butt Pad

• Slip-on AK/AKM fit: The reinforced slip-on design installs quickly on most wooden and composite fixed AK/AKM stocks, making it a practical upgrade for rifles that need more shoulder comfort without permanent modification.
• Recoil-absorbing rubber construction: The rubberized body helps soften the feel of recoil and spreads contact more evenly across the shoulder, which can make longer range sessions more comfortable.
• Extended length of pull: By adding .65 in (17 mm) to the stock, the pad gives the rifle a slightly longer, more natural shoulder position for many shooters, especially when heavier clothing or field gear is involved.
• Secure field-ready build: Its high-strength rubber construction is designed to stay in place under regular use, giving the rifle a more stable shoulder interface during repeated firing.
• Lightweight accessory: At 241.00 g, the butt pad adds useful cushioning and fit adjustment without turning the rifle into a noticeably bulkier setup.

About the UTG Accessories Series

UTG Accessories covers a broad range of practical upgrades for rifles, optics and shooting equipment, with an emphasis on straightforward installation and useful field improvements rather than cosmetic changes. Within the Leapers catalog, the series sits as a large support line around the company’s core shooting-sports products, including firearm components and optical accessories. That makes it a natural fit for shooters who want to refine handling, fit and day-to-day usability with parts that are purpose-built for common platforms.

Across the series, UTG accessories typically focus on durable materials, platform compatibility and simple user installation. The range includes both firearm parts and optic-related items, from stock and recoil accessories to scope add-ons and mounting components. In practice, the series is aimed at owners who want to improve comfort, control or equipment setup without moving into complex gunsmithing work. UTG Accessories products are therefore especially relevant for hunting and shooting-sport users who value dependable function, sensible design and compatibility with widely used rifle systems.

About the UTG AK47 Combat Butt Pad

The UTG AK47 Combat Butt Pad is a simple rifle-stock accessory built to improve how an AK-pattern rifle feels in the shoulder. Designed for the AK/AKM platform, it slips over compatible fixed stocks and adds a more forgiving contact surface than a bare stock end. That matters most on rifles that see frequent range use, where even moderate recoil and repeated mounting can become tiring over time.

The pad’s rubber construction serves two practical purposes. First, it helps absorb some of the sharpness of recoil, making the rifle more comfortable during longer shooting sessions. Second, it gives the butt a less slippery shoulder interface, which can help the rifle seat more consistently when mounting quickly or shooting from improvised positions. The reinforced slip-on design also keeps installation straightforward, so the rifle can be upgraded without permanent alteration.

Another useful detail is the added .65 in (17 mm) length-of-pull extension. On many AK-pattern rifles, that extra length can improve fit for taller shooters or for use with heavier outerwear. Combined with its modest 241.00 g weight, the butt pad offers a practical balance of comfort, control and fit adjustment for shooters who want a more manageable rifle without changing the stock itself.

About UTG

UTG is a brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992 and headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States. Leapers develops and manufactures optics and accessories for hunting and shooting sports, with a catalog that spans riflescopes, mounts, rings, bipods and firearm accessories. The company’s first product was a compact 4×28 scope, and it has continued to expand from optics into a wider range of support equipment for sporting and tactical-style rifles.

For this category, Leapers is especially known for building a broad accessory ecosystem around common shooting platforms. The company later added the UTG PRO line of U.S.-made products in 2009 and established an optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018. That background helps explain the UTG approach: practical, platform-specific products designed to improve fit, handling and equipment setup for everyday shooting use.
