Trijicon HD XR Night Sights – Glock Standard Frames (MOS)

• Photoluminescent Front Ring for Daylight Visibility: The front sight's green tritium lamp is encircled by a yellow photoluminescent ring that gathers ambient light, increasing dot visibility in daylight and transitional lighting, not just in the dark.
• Battery-Free Tritium Illumination: Both the front and rear lamps use tritium, so the sight picture stays visible in no-light conditions without batteries or any need to charge or activate the sight beforehand.
• Black Outline Rear U-Notch with Dual Tritium Dots: The rear sight is a black outline U-notch with a green tritium lamp on each wing, giving a wide, fast sight picture that supports quick target transitions.
• Rugged, Sapphire-Protected Lamps: Each lamp is sealed behind a sapphire window and housed in an aluminum cylinder with a silicone cushion, protecting it from recoil, impact, and gun-cleaning solvents.

ABOUT THE HD XR SERIES

Trijicon's HD XR series is a night sight line built around a wide rear U-notch and a front sight with a photoluminescent ring, aimed at combining reliable low-light performance with faster sight acquisition in daylight and transitional lighting. The series is offered for a range of pistol platforms, including several Glock frame sizes and select H&K models, with both standard and MOS-cut (slide-milled) fitments available.

Compared to Trijicon's standard Bright & Tough night sights, the HD XR series is designed to make the front dot easier to see and track quickly at speed, using the photoluminescent front ring to draw in ambient light rather than relying on tritium glow alone. This makes the series a common choice for duty and competition shooters who want a sight system that performs well across a wide range of lighting conditions, not only in full darkness.

ABOUT THE MODEL (TRIJICON HD XR – GLOCK STANDARD FRAMES (MOS), GL614-C-601091)

The Trijicon HD XR Night Sights for Glock Standard Frames (MOS), SKU GL614-C-601091, is a two-piece front-and-rear sight set fitted for Glock's standard-size MOS pistols. The front sight uses a narrow blade with a green tritium lamp surrounded by a yellow photoluminescent outline, making it easier to pick up quickly in both bright and low light. The rear sight is a black outline U-notch carrying two additional green tritium lamps, one on each wing, for a clear and fast sight alignment.

Construction follows Trijicon's standard night sight approach: the tritium lamps are protected behind sapphire windows for even light distribution and resistance to solvents, and are further housed in aluminum cylinders cushioned with silicone to help withstand recoil and repeated use. Because the illumination is battery-free, the sights remain active at all times, without any need to switch them on.

This configuration is intended for shooters who want a night sight setup that performs well beyond just full darkness, with the photoluminescent front ring helping maintain a visible dot during dawn, dusk, and indoor lighting where a plain tritium dot can be harder to pick up quickly.
