Thompson Center Butt Stock Pro-Hunter Flex Tech

• FlexTech buttstock design: The Pro-Hunter Flex Tech layout helps soften felt recoil and makes the rifle more manageable during long range sessions or repeated shots in the field.
• High comb profile: The raised comb aligns the shooter’s eye more naturally with a mounted scope or iron sights, which supports faster sight acquisition and a more consistent cheek weld.
• Rugged synthetic construction: The synthetic stock material stands up well to hard field use and changing weather, making it a practical choice for hunting rifles carried in rough conditions.
• Ready-to-install replacement: As a factory buttstock for the Pro Hunter platform, it is suited to restoring a worn rifle or updating a build without the uncertainty of a generic fit.
• Built for rifle applications: Its configuration is intended for rifle setups, giving Pro Hunter owners a stock option matched to the handling and sighting needs of scoped hunting firearms.

About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

The Thompson Center Accessories series is built around practical add-ons and replacement parts for hunters and other outdoor users who want to keep their firearms configured for real field use. Within the broader Thompson/Center lineup, this family covers carrying solutions, support gear and firearm accessories that complement the brand’s hunting-focused platforms rather than adding unnecessary complexity. The series is aimed at outdoor use, with products shaped by the needs of shooters who carry rifles over distance, move through changing terrain and rely on straightforward, durable equipment.

Across the range, the emphasis is on functional design, familiar handling and compatibility with established Thompson/Center systems. That makes the series especially relevant to owners of Encore and Pro Hunter firearms who want factory-matched components for maintenance, replacement or setup changes. Instead of focusing on cosmetic changes, these accessories prioritize fit, durability and field practicality, whether the product is meant for carry, support or direct installation on the firearm. The result is a product family that fits naturally into hunting use, where dependable construction and simple operation matter more than excess features.

About the Thompson Center Butt Stock Pro-Hunter Flex Tech

The Thompson Center Butt Stock Pro-Hunter Flex Tech is a replacement rifle stock made for shooters who want to keep a Pro Hunter setup practical, durable and comfortable in the field. Its defining feature is the FlexTech stock design, which helps reduce the sharpness of recoil and makes the rifle easier to control over longer shooting sessions. That matters on hunting rifles where repeated practice, load development or heavier chamberings can quickly make stock design more noticeable than it seems on paper.

The stock also uses a high comb profile, a detail that directly affects how quickly the rifle comes on target. By positioning the eye in more natural alignment with a mounted scope or iron sights, it supports faster sight pictures and more repeatable head placement from shot to shot. In practice, that means less time adjusting behind the rifle and a steadier shooting position when a quick opportunity appears.

Its synthetic construction suits the role of a working hunting-rifle component. Synthetic stocks are well suited to wet weather, temperature changes and general hard use, so this model makes sense for rifles that are carried often rather than stored as safe queens. As a factory-style buttstock for rifle applications, it is also a sensible option for replacing a damaged stock or refreshing an older Pro Hunter configuration while keeping the handling characteristics appropriate to the platform.

About Thompson Center

Thompson/Center Arms traces its firearms business to 1967 and is based in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. The company built its reputation around firearms for hunters, shooters and outdoor enthusiasts, with long-standing product areas that include muzzleloaders, black-powder accessories, interchangeable firearm systems and precision rimfire rifles. The brand is especially well known for platforms such as the T/C Encore, which helped establish Thompson/Center as a recognizable name in hunting firearms.

The company’s ownership changed over time, with Smith & Wesson acquiring Thompson/Center Arms on January 4, 2007, later announcing plans to divest the brand on May 3, 2021. In 2024, Gregg Ritz acquired Thompson/Center Arms. That history matters here because products such as Pro Hunter stocks and related accessories come from a brand with deep roots in practical hunting firearms and the supporting components built around them.
