Streamlight TLR-8 SUB Weapon Light with Laser for Glock 43X/48

• Subcompact Glock fit: Built specifically for the Glock 43X/48 platform, this light keeps the package compact and low profile, so the pistol remains easier to carry, draw and handle than with a bulkier universal unit.
• 500-lumen white light: The LED output gives enough reach for target identification out to 141.00 m, helping the shooter read surroundings and identify threats in low light instead of relying on ambient light alone.
• Integrated red laser: The built-in aiming laser adds a fast visual reference at close range, which is useful when shooting from unconventional positions or when a rapid sight picture is harder to obtain.
• Aluminium housing: The metal body is better suited to recoil, holster wear and daily handling than a lighter-duty construction, making it a practical choice for regular carry or duty use.
• Long battery runtime: With 60.00 h of laser battery life from a CR123A power source, the unit balances compact size with enough endurance for routine carry, training and readiness.

About the TLR-8 SUB Series

The TLR-8 SUB series sits in Streamlight’s weapon-light range as a compact option for subcompact and slim-frame handguns. It is built for users who want both white-light capability and a visible aiming laser without adding the bulk normally associated with full-size pistol lights. In practical terms, that makes the series well suited to concealed carry pistols, backup guns and compact defensive handguns where size, balance and holster fit matter as much as output.

Across the series, the design focuses on a low-profile rail-mounted format, an integrated laser module and controls that remain accessible on shorter pistol frames. The TLR-8 SUB family is intended for close-range defensive and professional use, where fast target identification and a clear aiming reference are more important than long-throw illumination. Different fitment versions are offered for specific handgun platforms, which helps keep the light close to the trigger guard and better matched to the host pistol. That platform-specific approach is one of the defining traits of the series, separating it from more generic rail lights that can feel oversized on smaller handguns.

About the Streamlight TLR-8 SUB Weapon Light with Laser for Glock 43X/48

The Streamlight TLR-8 SUB Weapon Light with Laser for Glock 43X/48 is tailored to shooters who want a dedicated light-and-laser unit for a slim Glock carry pistol rather than a one-size-fits-all accessory. Its main advantage is the combination of a 500.00 Lumen LED output and a red laser in a housing sized for the Glock 43X/48 family. That gives the pistol a more capable low-light setup for home defense, concealed carry and range training, while keeping the overall profile more manageable than a larger duty-style light.

The white light’s stated 141.00 m illumination distance gives it enough reach for indoor use, transitional spaces and short outdoor distances, where identifying a target and reading the environment quickly are the priority. The red laser adds a second aiming reference that can help during close-range work, low-light shooting and awkward firing positions where aligning iron sights is slower. Because the unit is built specifically for the Glock 43X/48, it also makes more sense ergonomically on that platform than a universal light that extends too far or shifts the pistol’s balance unnecessarily.

The aluminium housing supports regular carry and repeated recoil, while the CR123A power supply keeps battery replacement simple. With a stated 60.00 h laser runtime, the unit is configured for practical readiness rather than occasional use only. Overall, this model suits shooters who want a compact handgun light with added laser capability and a fit matched to a popular subcompact Glock platform.
