Sordin Supreme X2

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

• SordinHEAR2 Audio System: Four selectable audio profiles (Hunter, Shooter, Focus, Ambient off) let the user adapt gain and frequency response to the situation, with each selection confirmed by voice feedback.
• Impulse Noise Compression to 82 dB: Loud impulse noise, such as gunfire, is automatically compressed to a maximum of 82 dB(A), protecting hearing while ambient sound remains audible.
• SordinFLEX Modular Platform: The SordinFLEX design allows the headband, headband cover, and cushions to be reconfigured or replaced using X2 accessories, extending the usable life of the hearing protector.
• Waterproof Microphones, IP67-Tested: The externally mounted microphones are waterproof, and the relevant parts of the product meet IP67 immersion requirements, supporting reliable use in wet field conditions.

ABOUT THE MODEL (SORDIN SUPREME X2)

The Sordin Supreme X2 is an electronic hearing protector developed for hunting and shooting, built with slim-profile cups designed to fit both left- and right-handed shooters as well as wearers of eyeglasses. The device is built on the SordinFLEX modular design platform, meaning suspensions (headband or neckband), headband covers, and cushions can be swapped or reconfigured using separately available X2 accessories.

Despite its slim cup design, the Supreme X2 offers a high noise attenuation rating of SNR 29 / NRR 23 in its standard configuration, rising to SNR 40 / NRR 35 when used in dual protection mode together with Sordin SoftEar earplugs. Sound is managed through the SordinHEAR2 audio system, which reproduces natural ambient sound at high quality while automatically compressing dangerous impulse noise to a maximum of 82 dB(A), with a short decay time that restores normal hearing almost instantly after a shot.

Four audio profiles are available: Hunter, the normal profile for general use that balances situational awareness and comfort; Shooter, a reduced-gain, narrower-frequency profile suited to the shooting range; Focus, which increases gain and frequency range to pick up weak sounds, or pairs with Sordin earplugs for extra attenuation; and Ambient off, which deactivates ambient sound for passive-only protection while keeping communication active, useful for situations like motorized transport. All functions are controlled through an ergonomic push-button keypad, with voice feedback confirming selections and warning when battery level drops to 10%.

The device runs on a single standard AA 1.5V battery, with support for the rechargeable Sordin Power 14500 (3.7V) battery as an option, providing approximately 60 hours of operating time on alkaline power or 90 hours on the rechargeable battery, depending on use. An auto power-off function shuts the device down automatically after 4 hours of inactivity to conserve battery life. A 3.5mm AUX input allows connection of external audio sources, and the electronic circuits are encapsulated in multiple layers of lacquer for increased durability.

The Supreme X2 is available in Headband and Neckband versions, in Black or Green cup color, with a choice of leather or textile headband cover (Headband version only) and memory foam or silicone gel cushions, allowing the user to select the configuration best suited to their comfort preferences and intended use.
