Sightron S TAC 4-20x50

• 4-20x magnification range: Covers a wide span from shorter-range sighting to precise shot placement at distance, making the scope useful for target work, varmint shooting, and general hunting with one optic.
• 50 mm objective lens: The larger front lens supports a brighter sight picture at higher magnification, which helps when aiming in fading light or when trying to resolve small targets clearly.
• Side-focus parallax adjustment: Adjustable from 9.1 m to infinity, it lets the shooter fine-tune image focus and reduce aiming error at different distances without breaking position.
• 30 mm one-piece tube: The larger tube provides generous internal adjustment range while the one-piece construction adds strength for repeated field use and recoil resistance.
• Fully multicoated optics and nitrogen-filled housing: The coatings improve contrast and light transmission, while the sealed, fogproof construction keeps the image usable in wet weather and changing temperatures.

About the Sightron S TAC Series

The Sightron S TAC series sits in the company’s riflescope range as a practical line for shooters who want target-oriented features without moving into highly specialized competition optics. Sightron positions the series for target shooting, varmint hunting, and hunting, and the lineup reflects that broad role with standard models, first-focal-plane variants, service-rifle configurations, and AR-oriented options.

A defining feature of the series is Sightron’s ExacTrack windage and elevation adjustment system, which is used to maintain consistent tracking through the adjustment range. Sightron also identifies the series with resettable-to-zero turrets, giving shooters a straightforward way to return to a known zero after dialing. Across the range, reticle choices include designs such as Duplex and MOA reticles, and the series includes both first- and second-focal-plane models so users can choose between a constant reticle appearance or scale-correct subtensions. In practical terms, the S TAC family is built around flexible magnification ranges, durable tube construction, and field-ready controls that suit everything from general hunting rifles to dedicated varmint and range setups.

About the Sightron S TAC 4-20x50

The Sightron S TAC 4-20x50 is configured as a versatile long-range hunting and target riflescope, combining a useful 4-20x magnification range with a 50 mm objective lens. At the low end, 4x remains manageable for closer shots and scanning, while 20x gives the precision needed for small targets, load development, and varmint work where exact aiming points matter. The broad zoom range makes this model especially suitable for rifles that need to cover more than one role.

This model uses a 30 mm tube and offers substantial internal adjustment, with up to 79.00 MOA elevation and 39.00 MOA windage. Its tactical-style turret layout is paired with multi-turn adjustment and 15 MOA / 4.3 MRAD per revolution, which helps when dialing for distance instead of relying only on holdover. The side-focus parallax system adjusts from 9.1 m to infinity, allowing the image and target plane to be tuned for different shooting distances and reducing apparent reticle shift.

Optically, the scope combines fully multicoated lenses with a fast-focus eyepiece for quicker reticle sharpening and a clearer sight picture in changing light. The eye relief range of 94.00 mm to 101.60 mm gives comfortable head position on a wide variety of rifles. A nitrogen-filled, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction supports reliable use in rough weather and recoil-heavy field conditions, while the matte black finish keeps reflections subdued.

About Sightron

Sightron was originally based in Miami, Florida, and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. The company began with red-dot sights and then expanded into hunting and target riflescopes, later adding binoculars and spotting scopes to its range. That background is reflected in a product catalog built around practical field optics rather than general outdoor accessories.

Within the riflescope category, Sightron is known for series such as SII, SIIB Big Sky, SIII, S-TAC, and SV. Its better-known scope technologies include the ExacTrack system for windage and elevation adjustment and Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating. Sightron’s focus has remained centered on optics for hunting and target shooting, with product development aimed at dependable tracking, usable reticle options, and solid optical performance across different price levels.
