No, the Shield SMS/RMS Standard Mount (SKU: mnt-d-scp-30-34-sms/rms) is not suitable for the Shield SIS red dot sight. This mount is specifically designed for optics using the Shield RMS/SMS mounting footprint, which is a compact standard featuring four corner sockets (3.8 mm diameter) and two rear screw holes, commonly used for micro red dots like the Shield RMSc or SMS series. In contrast, the Shield SIS (Switchable Interface Sight) employs a unique Shield SIS/CQS mounting standard, which is distinct and not interchangeable without an adapter.

 

The SMS/RMS mount is intended as a base to attach compatible RMS/SMS optics to 30 mm or 34 mm scope tubes (or similar platforms), providing an aluminum construction with a weight of about 55 g. Shield Sights categorizes mounts separately: RMS/SMS mounts for their micro series and SIS/CQS mounts for the SIS line, confirming the incompatibility.
