Safariland 27 Inside The Pants Holster for Glock 26/27

• Inside-the-waistband carry: The slim IWB format keeps the holster close to the body, making the Safariland 27 a practical choice for concealed daily carry with compact Glock pistols.
• Open-top design: An open-top configuration supports a fast, direct draw without extra release steps, which helps when quick access matters more than added retention devices.
• J-hook belt attachment: The belt-mounted J-hook secures the holster discreetly while keeping the attachment profile low on the outside of the belt for less visible carry.
• Adjustable cant: The J-hook design allows cant adjustment, so the holster can be set for a more natural draw angle and better comfort in different carry positions.
• Rigid polymer construction: The shaped polymer body helps the holster keep its form for consistent reholstering and stable firearm positioning during regular use.

About the 27 Series

The Safariland 27 Series is built as a concealment-focused inside-the-waistband holster line for users who want a simple, close-fitting carry solution for compact handguns. Within Safariland’s broader holster range, this series sits on the discreet-carry side of the lineup, prioritizing low bulk, straightforward access, and practical day-to-day wear over the higher-retention systems used on duty holsters.

A defining feature of the series is its J-hook attachment, which keeps the mounting point unobtrusive on the belt while also allowing cant adjustment. That matters in real use because small changes in angle can improve concealment under light clothing and make the draw stroke feel more natural from different positions around the waist. The series also uses a rigid shaped construction rather than a soft pouch format, helping the holster maintain its form for more consistent reholstering and stable handgun support. For concealed carriers who prefer a clean, open-top design, the 27 Series offers a practical balance of access, concealment, and everyday wearability.

About the Safariland 27 Inside The Pants Holster for Glock 26/27

The Safariland 27 Inside The Pants Holster for Glock 26/27 is configured for two of Glock’s most popular subcompact platforms, making it well suited to concealed carry with a compact, shorter-grip pistol. That pairing is important in practice: the smaller overall handgun size works naturally with an inside-the-waistband holster, helping reduce printing while keeping the pistol accessible for routine defensive carry.

This model uses an open-top design, which favors a fast, uncomplicated draw. For users who do not want additional retention levers on a concealment holster, that layout keeps the presentation direct and intuitive. The polymer body gives the holster a defined shape, which helps it hold the pistol in a repeatable position and makes reholstering easier than with softer designs that can collapse under belt pressure.

The J-hook belt clip is a key part of the design. It secures the holster to the belt while keeping the visible portion of the attachment relatively discreet, supporting the low-profile role of an IWB holster. Because the hook also allows cant adjustment, the holster can be tuned for comfort and draw angle depending on carry position and body shape. Overall, this Safariland holster is aimed at users who want a rigid, compact concealment holster for the Glock 26 or Glock 27 without adding unnecessary bulk.
