Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Weatherby Mark V, Europa, 300, Vanguard, 25.4 mm

• Pivot mounting system: The Rusan pivot design lets the scope be removed and reattached quickly, which is useful for rifles that alternate between optical sights or need easier transport and storage.
• Without bases configuration: This version is made for use with compatible pivot bases already on the rifle, making it a practical replacement or upgrade when the lower mounting interface is already in place.
• 25.4 mm ring size: Built for 1 inch scope tubes, it suits many classic hunting riflescopes and keeps the installation matched to traditional optic formats.
• Steel construction: A steel mount brings the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated attachment cycles, helping the optic stay secure over long-term field use.
• Quick-release fixation: The quick-release layout supports fast handling in the field while preserving the convenience that makes pivot mounts popular on hunting rifles.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are built as a dedicated family of firearm optics mounts for shooters who want the convenience of a detachable system without giving up a solid mechanical connection. Within the Rusan lineup, this series covers both complete mounts with bases and pivot mounts sold without bases, so it can serve both new rifle setups and rifles that already carry a compatible lower base.

The series is offered for a wide range of sight interfaces and scope tube sizes, including 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm configurations. That breadth makes the platform relevant for traditional hunting riflescopes as well as larger modern optics. Rusan also lists variants for different rifle mounting interfaces, including 11 mm prisms and Picatinny rails, which shows the series is designed around model-specific fit rather than a one-pattern approach.

A defining characteristic of the range is its steel construction combined with quick-release fixation. In practice, that means a mount family aimed at repeatable removal, dependable lock-up, and the kind of durability expected on working hunting rifles where optics may be detached for transport, service, or a change of sighting system.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Weatherby Mark V, Europa, 300, Vanguard, 25.4 mm

The Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Weatherby Mark V, Europa, 300, and Vanguard is a model-specific upper mount intended for rifles that already use a compatible pivot-base arrangement. Because it is supplied without bases, it is especially useful for shooters replacing an existing upper assembly or adapting a rifle that already has the lower pivot components installed. That keeps the setup focused and avoids changing the rifle-side base when it is not necessary.

This version is configured for 25.4 mm (1 inch) scope tubes, making it a natural match for many classic hunting riflescopes. On traditional Weatherby hunting rifles, that tube size is often chosen for compact, proven optics, and a correctly sized ring interface matters for secure clamping and consistent alignment. The pivot format also suits rifles that may need the optic removed for travel or maintenance, then reattached with minimal delay.

Rusan builds this mount in steel, a practical choice for a detachable system because the locking surfaces and ring structure are subjected to repeated use over time. The quick-release pivot mechanism adds handling speed while preserving the tidy profile and familiar operation that have made swing mounts popular on sporting rifles. Finished in black, the mount keeps a restrained appearance that fits both blued and modern rifle setups while prioritizing function over bulk.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer whose roots in metalworking go back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993, establishing the product area for which it is now widely known. The business operates from Marija Bistrica, Croatia.

The company focuses on practical firearm interface components, including scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products. Its range also extends into adapters for modern electro-optics, including clamps and interfaces for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on precise mechanical solutions for attaching optics securely and repeatably. That background makes Rusan particularly relevant in categories where fit, alignment, and dependable attachment matter as much as the optic itself.
