Rusan Pivot mount for Browning European, Picatinny rail

• Quick-release pivot design: The mount can be removed and reattached without tools, making it practical for rifles that alternate between different sighting systems while preserving a repeatable mounting position.
• Picatinny rail interface: The integrated rail accepts a wide range of optics and accessories, giving the Browning European a flexible platform for riflescopes, red dots, or other Picatinny-compatible sighting solutions.
• Steel construction: A steel body adds the rigidity needed for secure optic support under recoil and repeated use, helping the setup stay stable over time.
• Complete one-piece configuration: As a dedicated mount for the Browning European, it combines the rifle-specific lower interface with a Picatinny top section for a clean, purpose-built fit.
• Low 14.00 mm BH height: The low build helps keep the optic closer to the bore, which supports a more natural cheek weld and a more compact overall rifle setup.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are built as a dedicated family of firearm optics mounts for shooters who want the security of a fixed rifle-specific fit with the flexibility of a removable upper system. Within the Rusan lineup, this series covers both complete pivot mounts and versions supplied without bases, giving it a broad role across traditional hunting rifles and other model-specific platforms. The range includes variants for different mounting interfaces, including Picatinny rails, as well as versions for several scope tube diameters such as 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm.

A defining characteristic of the series is its steel construction combined with quick-release fixation. In practical use, that means a mount designed for repeated installation and removal while maintaining the robust feel expected from a mechanical hunting mount. The series is also strongly rifle-specific: Rusan offers pivot-mount variants for platforms from makers such as Anschutz and Antonio Zoli, reflecting a design approach centered on precise fit rather than universal compromise. For shooters who prefer a classic pivot system but still need compatibility with modern optics interfaces, the series bridges traditional mounting geometry and current sighting options.

About the Rusan Pivot mount for Browning European, Picatinny rail

The Rusan Pivot mount for Browning European, Picatinny rail is a dedicated one-piece mounting solution made for shooters who want to equip a FN Browning European rifle with optics that use a Picatinny rail interface. Its main advantage is versatility: instead of being limited to one ring diameter or one proprietary rail profile, the mount creates a standardized top platform that can accept a broad range of compatible sights. That makes it especially useful for rifles that may be set up differently for driven hunting, general stalking, or range use.

The mount belongs to Rusan’s quick-release pivot system, so it is designed for users who value the ability to remove the optic assembly when needed and reinstall it with minimal disruption to the rifle’s handling. In the field, that can be useful for transport, maintenance, or switching between optical setups. The steel construction supports long-term durability and gives the assembly the stiffness needed for secure optic support under recoil.

Its 14.00 mm BH height and KR 0.0 mm extension indicate a compact, straight mounting geometry. In practice, this helps keep the sight line low and centered, which can improve head position behind the optic and preserve the rifle’s balance. Because the mount is made specifically for the Browning European action, it is intended to provide a cleaner and more integrated fit than a generic adapter-based solution.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993, establishing a long-standing focus on firearm interface components and precision-machined shooting accessories.

The company’s product range includes scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, firearm tuning products, and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan is also known for its adapter clamps for clip-on sights, a category it expanded with the introduction of its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009. That background is directly relevant here: the company’s experience centers on the mechanical connection between firearm and optic, where fit, repeatability, and machining quality matter more than unnecessary complexity.
