Recknagel Screw for Polyform Lever

• Purpose-built spare part: This screw is made specifically for the Recknagel Polyform lever, helping restore the original clamping function of compatible scope mounts without replacing the complete lever assembly.
• Lightweight aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight to a minimum while remaining suitable for a mounting component that needs to be handled and adjusted in regular use.
• Compact replacement component: At just 10.00 g, it adds virtually no bulk to the mount, making it a practical choice for keeping a hunting or sporting rifle setup trim and balanced.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture reflects Recknagel’s long-standing focus on precision firearm accessories and helps ensure fit and finish consistent with the company’s mounting systems.
• Designed for mount maintenance: As a dedicated accessory for scope mounts, it is intended for repair or upkeep work that keeps an existing mounting system serviceable and ready for continued field use.

About the Recknagel Accesories Series

Recknagel Accesories covers the small but essential components that support the company’s broader range of mounting and firearm accessories. Within the lineup, these parts serve the practical side of ownership: maintenance, replacement, adaptation and workshop work for hunting and sporting firearms. Rather than being a separate premium tier, the series functions as the supporting hardware behind Recknagel’s established mounting systems, giving users access to the same ecosystem in a more granular form.

A defining characteristic of this family is its focus on mounts, spare parts and accessory interfaces rather than complete optics assemblies. The range sits naturally alongside Recknagel’s scope-mount catalog and related hunting-weapon accessories, with products intended for hunters, sporting shooters and gunsmiths who need exact-fit components for service or configuration changes. In practice, that means parts such as screws, adapters and interface-based accessories that help keep a mount working as intended. The series reflects the company’s long-standing approach of building a broad, modular hardware system around the rifle and scope rather than treating accessories as afterthoughts.

About the Recknagel Screw for Polyform Lever

The Recknagel Screw for Polyform Lever is a dedicated mounting spare part intended for users who need to maintain or restore a compatible Recknagel lever-operated mount. On a rifle setup, small hardware components matter because the mount depends on consistent clamping force and repeatable positioning. Replacing a worn or missing screw with the correct part helps preserve the function of the original mechanism instead of forcing a compromise with an improvised substitute.

This model is made from aluminium and weighs only 10.00 g, which suits its role as a compact handling and fastening component on a scope mount. The low weight is especially relevant on hunting rifles and other field setups where unnecessary mass on the mounting system is best avoided. Its black finish also matches the subdued appearance expected on modern mounting hardware.

Because it is designed specifically as an accessory for mounts and for the Polyform lever arrangement, this screw is best understood as a fit-critical replacement part rather than a generic fastener. That matters in practice: correct geometry and intended compatibility help the lever system operate as designed, whether the goal is routine maintenance, repair work or keeping an existing Recknagel mount in service for continued hunting or sporting use.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer focused on firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights and hunting accessories. The company’s history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started producing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia. Over time, the range expanded to include scope mounts, Picatinny rails, sights, triggers, safeties and related hunting equipment, giving the brand a strong position in the mechanical side of rifle setup and handling.

The company later relocated to Bergrheinfeld in 2006, and in 2010 it introduced the ERATAC line for tactical mounts and accessories. Recknagel broadened its hunting product range again in 2016 with lightweight silencers. In 2022, Dr. Moritz Fehrer acquired the company. Across these changes, Recknagel has remained closely associated with German-made mounting hardware built for hunters, sporting shooters and professional users who depend on precise fit between firearm, mount and optic.
