Pixfra Chiron C635 LRF

• 640x512 thermal sensor: The higher-resolution 12 μm VOx sensor gives the scope more image detail for identifying animals and reading terrain features at longer distances, rather than only detecting heat.
• Integrated 1000 m laser rangefinder: Built-in ranging and ballistic software reduce guesswork on holdover, which helps when distances change quickly in the field.
• 35 mm F1.0 objective lens: The fast aperture gathers more thermal energy, improving contrast and helping the scope maintain a clearer image in poor weather and low-temperature scenes.
• OLED display with 1440x1080 resolution: A high-resolution display makes the thermal image easier to interpret, so reticles, menus, and target edges appear cleaner during observation and shot placement.
• Video, image capture, and WiFi connectivity: Recording and wireless connection make it easier to review shots, document observations, and manage the scope alongside other field gear.

About the Pixfra Chiron Series

Pixfra Chiron is Pixfra’s thermal riflescope family for hunters and outdoor users who need a dedicated sighting system rather than a handheld viewer. In Pixfra’s current catalog, the line is offered as both Chiron and Chiron LRF, with models built around either 384 × 288 or 640 × 512 detectors. That gives the series a clear spread from more accessible thermal optics to higher-detail configurations for users who place more emphasis on recognition and shot evaluation.

A defining part of the series is its use of 12 μm vanadium oxide uncooled detectors together with Pixfra’s PIPS image-processing solution, which is designed to keep image latency below 20 ms. In practice, that supports a more natural view when scanning moving animals or tracking across uneven ground. The Chiron series also uses a rotary-knob menu control, a practical layout for fast adjustments with gloved hands or in darkness. On LRF versions, the platform adds a 1000 m laser rangefinder and an integrated ballistic calculator, while the series also supports recoil-activated recording for capturing the moment around the shot.

About the Pixfra Chiron C635 LRF

Pixfra Chiron C635 LRF is the higher-detail, laser-equipped version of the Chiron concept, combining a 640x512 thermal sensor with a 35 mm F1.0 objective lens and a built-in rangefinder. Its fixed 1.80 x optical magnification gives a broad starting view, which suits woodland edges, field margins, and general hunting situations where rapid target acquisition matters as much as magnified detail. With a stated 1800.00 m detection range, the scope is built to pick up heat sources well beyond normal shooting distances, while the stronger sensor resolution helps separate animals from background clutter more convincingly.

The integrated 1000.00 m laser rangefinder works with the scope’s ballistic software, giving the user distance data directly in the internal display instead of relying on a separate handheld device. That streamlines the shooting process and reduces movement at the moment when range confirmation matters most. The OLED 1440x1080 display supports a cleaner-looking image and clearer reticle presentation, while the 50.00 Hz refresh rate helps maintain a smoother view on moving targets. A NETD of 20.00 mK also supports better thermal separation in weak contrast conditions such as damp evenings, light fog, or scenes with limited temperature difference.

In day-to-day use, the Chiron C635 LRF balances field practicality with core thermal functions. It offers video recording, image capture, and WiFi connectivity for review and sharing, and it runs on an 18650 battery for a stated 6.50 h of operation. At 608.00 g and 213.40 mm in length, it remains compact enough for a hunting rifle setup without adding unnecessary bulk.

About Pixfra

Pixfra is the outdoor brand of Zhejiang Pixfra Technology Co., Ltd., based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The company develops thermal imaging modules and cores as well as finished outdoor devices, cameras, and related imaging solutions, which places thermal technology at the center of its product development rather than treating it as a secondary category. Within its outdoor lineup, Pixfra covers thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal front attachments, multispectral binoculars, and digital day-and-night scopes.

That specialization is relevant to products such as the Chiron C635 LRF, because the same product family sits alongside other dedicated thermal platforms in the brand’s catalog. Pixfra also uses its own image-processing approach in the outdoor segment, including PIPS 2.0 in the Mile 2 series, and identifies hunting, outdoor exploration, and animal observation as key applications for its thermal devices. The result is a manufacturer focused on practical field imaging rather than conventional daylight sporting optics.
