Pard TA32-19 LRF

Yes, technically it is perfectly possible and also recommended to use 18650 batteries from other quality manufacturers such as Sony, Samsung or KeepPower in the PARD TA32-19 LRF monocular. I explain the details below based on official specifications and user experience.

Why is this possible?

- Standard design for 18650 batteries: the PARD TA32-19 LRF is designed to use a single 18650 lithium-ion battery rated at 3.7 V. The official manual and manufacturer's specifications clearly state that this is a standard, commercially available 18650 battery (not built-in or proprietary). The battery is inserted in a side cover that supports easy replacement, without any brand restrictions.
- No third-party restrictions: PARD does not require the use of only its own batteries (although they do sell them as replacements, e.g. with a capacity of 3200 mAh). On the contrary, the specifications emphasize "commercially available model 18650 Li-Ion battery", which means that all standard 18650 batteries are compatible as long as they meet the basic parameters (3.7 V, lithium-ion, no extreme deviation dimensions).

Benefits of using quality alternatives (Sony, Samsung, KeepPower)

These batteries are often better than cheap or generic versions as they offer higher capacity, better stability and longer life. Examples:
- Samsung (e.g. 35E or 30Q, 3500 mAh, 8-10A): Excellent for long term use, high capacity and low price. Users report an increase in runtime to almost twice that of lower capacity batteries.

If the cover is loose, the flat-top works without problems. Check that the dimensions are standard: 18 mm x 65 mm.
- Capacity and current: Monoculars do not have a high power consumption (similar to flashlights or optics), so batteries with 2500-3500 mAh and 5-10 A are sufficient. Higher capacity means longer run time (up to 6 hours).
- Safety: Charge outside the device with a suitable charger (e.g. Nitecore or similar). Avoid cheap Chinese knockoffs (e.g. with bogus 10,000 mAh claims)
- Warranty: The use of quality third-party batteries does not affect PARD's warranty (3 years), as the specifications are standard.
