Pachmayr Pac-Mag Gun Storage Magnet

• Three-magnet holding system: The Pac-Mag uses a three-magnet layout to create a stronger hold, so it can secure not only handguns but also many rifles in places where a single-point magnet would be less stable.
• Rated for up to 30 pounds: This load capacity makes the magnet useful for more than compact pistols, giving it the flexibility to support a wider range of firearms in safes, cabinets, vehicles, or work areas.
• Overmolded rubber contact surface: The rubber exterior helps prevent marring on firearm finishes, which matters when the magnet is used for frequent-access storage rather than long-term boxed storage.
• Low-profile design: Its slim form is easier to conceal under a desk, behind furniture, inside a safe, or along a wall, helping keep a firearm accessible without taking up much space.
• Flexible mounting options: With mounting screws, drywall anchors, and double-sided adhesive tape included, the Pac-Mag can be installed on a variety of surfaces and in spaces where drilling may not be the first choice.

About the Pachmayr Accessories Series

Pachmayr Accessories covers a broad group of firearm-support products built around practical handling, storage, and recoil-management needs. The series includes handgun and revolver grips, rifle grips, and recoil pads for rifles and shotguns, reflecting Pachmayr’s long-standing focus on products that improve how firearms are carried, controlled, and fitted. Within the line, the emphasis is usually on durable materials, straightforward installation, and designs that solve common field or workshop problems without adding unnecessary bulk.

That same approach carries into utility products such as storage and organization accessories. Rather than focusing on optics or electronic features, this series is defined by simple mechanical function, protective rubber materials, and compatibility with a wide range of firearms. It sits in the Pachmayr lineup as the practical side of the brand: products chosen by shooters, hunters, and gun owners who want dependable accessories for everyday use, whether that means improving grip, reducing felt recoil, or storing a firearm securely and within reach.

About the Pachmayr Pac-Mag Gun Storage Magnet

The Pachmayr Pac-Mag Gun Storage Magnet is a compact firearm-storage accessory designed for fast access and efficient use of space. Its main advantage is the three-magnet design, which gives it the holding strength needed for more than a typical handgun magnet. Because it is rated for up to 30 pounds, it can be used with pistols as well as many rifles, making it a versatile option for safe interiors, walls, cabinets, work benches, vehicles, and other storage points where a firearm needs to stay secure but immediately reachable.

The body is covered in overmolded non-marring rubber, an important detail for owners who want to avoid finish wear during repeated placement and removal. That makes the Pac-Mag especially useful for defensive or utility storage, where the firearm may be handled often rather than left untouched for long periods. Its low-profile shape also helps with discreet placement under a desk, beside a night stand, under a counter top, or inside a safe door, so it adds storage without consuming much room.

Installation flexibility is another strength. The included hardware and adhesive tape allow the magnet to be fitted to different surfaces and layouts, which is valuable when organizing a gun room or creating a compact ready-access storage point. In practical use, the Pac-Mag is less about display and more about keeping a firearm protected, stable, and positioned where space is limited.

About Pachmayr

Pachmayr was founded in 1929 by Frank Pachmayr, and the company’s custom gun shop was located in Los Angeles, California. Over time, the brand became closely associated with firearm-improvement products such as grips, recoil pads, gunsmithing tools, and related shooting accessories. Pachmayr introduced its first recoil pad in 1949, and its rubber handgun grips reached the market in the early 1960s, helping establish the brand’s reputation for practical shooting accessories built around control and comfort.

Since joining Lyman in 1996, Pachmayr has remained focused on products for shooters, gunsmiths, and firearm owners who need dependable fit-and-function upgrades rather than cosmetic add-ons. The brand is particularly well known for recoil-reducing materials such as Decelerator and for a catalog that spans grips, pads, and workshop accessories. That background makes Pachmayr a natural fit for storage products like the Pac-Mag, where durability, protective materials, and straightforward utility matter most.
