Optik Arms Set of fiber sights, Zastava M85

• Fiber-optic aiming system: The multi-color fiber elements draw the eye quickly in changing light, helping the shooter pick up the sight picture faster than with plain black irons.
• Adjustable sight setup: An adjustable rear sight allows the rifle to be regulated to the chosen load, which is useful when point of impact changes with ammunition type or shooting distance.
• Steel construction: The steel body gives the sight set the rigidity needed for repeated field use and helps it stand up to handling, recoil and routine maintenance.
• 3-dot alignment: The three-dot layout gives a familiar reference for centering the front sight in the rear notch, making sight alignment more intuitive under time pressure.
• Compact, low-mass design: At 10.00 g, the set adds very little weight to the rifle and preserves the simple handling expected from a compact iron-sight setup.

About the Optik Arms Rifle Sights Series

The Optik Arms Rifle Sights series is built for shooters who want a straightforward mechanical aiming solution with the durability expected from steel firearm components. Within the Optik Arms catalog, these sights sit alongside the company’s mounts, rails and other weapon parts, giving the range a practical, workshop-driven character rather than a purely cosmetic one. The series is aimed at users who prefer iron sights for compact carbines and rifles, as well as owners replacing worn factory units or adapting a rifle to a clearer, faster sight picture.

A defining trait of the series is its focus on robust metal construction and simple field usability. Fiber-optic variants are intended to improve front-sight visibility in daylight and mixed lighting, while adjustable configurations allow the rifle to be tuned to a specific cartridge or zeroing distance. The design philosophy is functional: clear alignment, durable materials and uncomplicated operation. For shooters who value a backup sighting system or a traditional non-magnified setup, the series offers a practical alternative that keeps the rifle trim, mechanically simple and ready for regular range or field use.

About the Optik Arms Set of fiber sights, Zastava M85

The Optik Arms Set of fiber sights, Zastava M85 is a dedicated iron-sight set made for the Zastava M85, combining a familiar open-sight layout with the faster visual pickup of fiber-optic elements. Its role is straightforward: provide a durable, non-magnified aiming solution that remains quick to read at short to moderate distances, whether the rifle is used for general field shooting, training or as a simple backup to an optic-equipped setup.

The practical advantage of this model lies in the way its features work together. The fiber-optic sight picture helps the eye locate the aiming reference more quickly than a plain black blade, which is especially useful when shooting against dark backgrounds or in uneven daylight. The 3-dot alignment gives a familiar visual structure for centering the front sight in the rear notch, while the U-shaped rear sight supports fast alignment without making the sight picture feel cramped. Because the rear sight is adjustable, the rifle can be zeroed more precisely for the chosen ammunition, reducing the compromise that often comes with fixed iron sights.

Its steel construction suits a working rifle component, offering the solidity needed for repeated use, while the black finish keeps the appearance subdued. With a total weight of only 10.00 g, the set preserves the handling balance of the rifle and adds capability without unnecessary bulk.

About Optik Arms

Optik Arms began as a gunsmith’s shop and later moved into producing its own scope mounts, reflecting a background rooted in practical firearm work rather than generic accessories. The company is based in Teslić, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its product range covers mounts, sights and other weapon parts for sporting and tactical applications.

The brand emphasizes manufacturing with CNC machines and states that its components are machined from solid materials, a method chosen for strength and dimensional consistency. Optik Arms also says its products receive anti-wear and anti-corrosion treatments, which is particularly relevant for firearm parts exposed to regular handling and outdoor use. Alongside sights, the company’s catalog includes Picatinny rails, rings, sling swivels and mounts for red dots, night-vision and thermal devices.
