Night Pearl Buru 25 MAX II LRF Product description

  • 640x512 thermal sensor: The high-resolution VOx ceramic sensor gives the Night Pearl Buru 25 MAX II LRF a more detailed thermal image, helping separate animals, people, and background heat more clearly when scanning at longer distances.
  • 1.5x to 6x magnification range: The low base magnification keeps the image easy to search with, while the higher zoom range gives extra reach for checking heat signatures without carrying a larger handheld.
  • Integrated laser rangefinding capability: A thermal monocular with rangefinding support helps turn detection into a more informed observation, which is especially useful when judging distance in darkness or across open ground.
  • 1280x960 OLED display: The OLED screen presents the thermal image with strong contrast and a crisp viewing experience, making prolonged observation easier and helping fine details stand out in low-light field use.
  • Compact nitrogen-filled housing: At 511.00 g and 190.00 mm long, this handheld stays portable while the fogproof, waterproof construction supports dependable use in cold, damp, and changing outdoor conditions.

About the Night Pearl Buru Series

Night Pearl Buru is a family of thermal handheld monoculars built for users who need a practical observation tool rather than a rifle-mounted optic. Within the Night Pearl range, the Buru line sits alongside ALOR in the company’s value-oriented thermal handheld segment, giving hunters and general outdoor users access to thermal imaging in a compact format. The series includes both Elite and MAX variants, allowing buyers to choose between different performance levels while keeping the same handheld concept.

A defining trait of the Buru line is its focus on straightforward field use. These monoculars are intended for scanning terrain, locating heat sources, and maintaining awareness in darkness, brush, or difficult weather. Some models in the series are equipped with a built-in laser rangefinder, which adds distance information to thermal observation and makes the platform more useful where target identification alone is not enough. Across the series, the emphasis stays on portable thermal viewing, practical controls, and a form factor that suits stalking, game recovery, and general night observation.

About the Night Pearl Buru 25 MAX II LRF

The Night Pearl Buru 25 MAX II LRF is a compact thermal monocular designed for users who want strong image detail in a handheld format with added ranging capability. Its 640x512 thermal sensor with a 12.00 μm pixel pitch gives this model a clear advantage when distinguishing smaller heat sources and reading terrain detail that can be lost on lower-resolution devices. In practical use, that means more confidence when scanning field edges, woodland openings, or open ground where shape recognition matters as much as simple detection.

The optical setup combines 1.50 x base magnification with a maximum of 6.00 x, which keeps the image manageable for searching at close and medium distances while still allowing closer inspection of a detected target. The 25.00 mm objective lens and 7.40 ° field of view support a balanced viewing style: wide enough for efficient scanning, but with enough image scale to avoid the detached feel common to very low-power thermal viewers.

The 1280x960 OLED display helps present the sensor output with strong contrast, which is important during extended observation sessions and when switching between warmer and cooler backgrounds. Automatic and manual calibration modes let the user choose between convenience and direct control depending on the situation. Photo capture and video recording add a useful documentation function, while the compact 190.00 mm body, 511.00 g weight, nitrogen filling, and waterproof and fogproof construction make the monocular easier to carry and more dependable in poor weather. With up to 5.00 h of runtime from CR123 power, it is suited to mobile thermal observation where size and readiness matter.

About Night Pearl

Night Pearl was established in the Czech Republic in 2009, following the completion of its first device, the NP-22 night-vision clip-on, in 2008. The company has focused on electro-optics from the beginning, and it has produced thermal imaging devices under its own brand since 2014. Its range covers thermal imaging, night vision, digital night vision, and daytime optics, with product lines that include handhelds, clip-ons, rifle scopes, monoculars, binoculars, adapters, and sights.

The brand expanded its technical base with a research, development, and manufacturing facility in Bystřice pod Hostýnem in 2016. That background is relevant to products such as the Buru series, which sit squarely in Night Pearl’s core area of portable thermal observation. More recently, Night Pearl USA began operating in Sarasota, Florida, in 2023, extending the company’s presence in the American market for thermal and night-vision equipment.
