Meprolight Tru-Dot for Para Ordnance 12-45, 14-40, 14-45

• Self-illuminated tritium dots: The three-dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive or duty use at any hour.
• Consistent 3-dot alignment: Matching front and rear dots give a familiar reference in daylight and darkness, helping the shooter keep the same sighting process as conditions change.
• Steel construction: A steel sight body stands up well to daily carry, holster wear, and repeated recoil, making it a practical upgrade over more fragile factory sights.
• Fixed sight setup: The fixed configuration keeps the profile simple and durable, which suits carry and service pistols where snag resistance and dependable zero matter more than adjustment features.
• Para Ordnance fit: This model is made for the Para Ordnance 12-45, 14-40, and 14-45, giving owners a direct replacement night-sight set tailored to those pistol platforms.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot sights are the company’s established tritium handgun sight line, built for shooters who want a simple, always-available aiming reference rather than electronics or battery-powered illumination. Within the handgun range, the series covers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height sights, with model-specific versions made to replace factory front and rear sights on a wide variety of pistols.

A defining feature of the series is its three-dot sight picture, designed to remain visually consistent from daylight into low-light conditions. The tritium illumination works continuously without switches or charging, which makes Tru-Dot sights well suited to defensive carry, service pistols, and general-purpose handguns that may be used in changing light. Depending on the model, the line also includes different tritium dot color combinations, while keeping the same straightforward alignment concept. Across the series, the emphasis is on practical visibility, durable metal construction, and a direct replacement format that preserves the familiar handling of the host pistol.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Para Ordnance 12-45, 14-40, 14-45

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Para Ordnance 12-45, 14-40, 14-45 is a dedicated handgun night sight set for shooters who want a more visible iron-sight system on compatible Para Ordnance pistols. Its core advantage is the self-illuminated tritium design: the sights stay on continuously, so there is no need to manage batteries, brightness settings, or activation under stress. For a defensive pistol or a working sidearm, that matters because the sight picture is immediately available when ambient light drops.

This model uses a green 3-dot alignment with a square rear sight, a layout that supports fast front-sight acquisition while still giving a clear rear reference for deliberate shots. Because the same basic dot arrangement is visible by day and night, the shooter does not need to adapt to a different visual pattern as lighting changes. The fixed sight adjustment also suits the role of these pistols well: it keeps the profile robust and uncomplicated, with fewer features to snag or shift in hard use.

Built from steel and finished in black, the sight set is intended for regular carry, training, and recoil exposure. In practical terms, this is a straightforward upgrade for Para Ordnance owners who want durable iron sights with dependable low-light visibility while keeping the handling and simplicity of a fixed-sight pistol.
