Meprolight Tru-Dot for IWI Masada

• Self-Illuminated Tritium System: The Meprolight Tru-Dot sight set stays visible in low light and at night without batteries or switches, so the pistol is ready with the same sight picture at any hour.
• Three-Dot Alignment: A fixed 3-dot layout gives a familiar reference that helps the eye center the front sight quickly, which is useful for defensive shooting and fast presentation from the holster.
• Steel Construction: The steel body stands up to regular carry, slide cycling, and hard use better than softer materials, helping the sights keep their shape and zero over time.
• Fixed Sight Setup: With a fixed front and rear arrangement, this sight set favors simplicity and durability, making it well suited to a duty or carry pistol that needs a dependable, low-maintenance setup.
• Masada-Specific Fit: Built for the IWI Masada, this Tru-Dot set serves as a direct replacement for factory sights, giving the pistol a low-light capable upgrade without changing the handling of the handgun.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established family of self-illuminated handgun sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that works in daylight, dim interiors, and nighttime conditions. Within the series, Meprolight offers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants, allowing the same basic sighting concept to serve concealed-carry pistols, duty handguns, and specialized setups. The common idea across the range is a three-dot sight picture that remains visually consistent as ambient light changes, so the shooter does not need to learn a different presentation for day and night use.

The series is designed as a replacement for factory front and rear sights on compatible pistols, making it a practical upgrade for users who prefer iron sights over electronic optics or who want a dependable backup aiming system. Tritium illumination is central to the Tru-Dot concept because it provides a visible aiming reference without batteries, controls, or charging. Depending on the model, the series also includes different tritium dot color combinations and sight heights to match specific handgun roles. In practice, the Tru-Dot line focuses on durability, immediate readiness, and a familiar sight picture that supports fast alignment under stress.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for IWI Masada

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for IWI Masada is a dedicated handgun night sight set for shooters who want to keep the Masada’s handling straightforward while adding a clear low-light aiming reference. Its main advantage is the self-illuminated tritium system, which keeps the dots visible without relying on batteries or external light sources. That matters on a defensive or duty pistol because the sight picture is available immediately, whether the handgun is used in daylight, indoors, or after dark.

This model uses a fixed 3-dot alignment, a layout many shooters already know well. The familiar arrangement helps speed up front-sight acquisition and keeps the aiming process intuitive under pressure. The square rear sight with green reference dots gives the eye a clean rear notch to work with, while the front and rear dots provide a fast visual index when lighting conditions are poor. Because the sights are fixed rather than adjustable, the design favors ruggedness and everyday reliability over fine-tuning, which suits a carry or service handgun.

The sight bodies are made from steel, an important detail on a slide-mounted component that must tolerate repeated recoil, holster wear, and regular handling. Finished in black, the set maintains a subdued appearance while keeping attention on the illuminated aiming points. For Masada owners who want a durable iron-sight upgrade with no electronics to manage, this model offers a practical combination of low-light visibility, simple operation, and platform-specific fit.
