Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for IWI Masada

• LED-illuminated three-dot sight picture: The Mepro Evergreen system gives the shooter a clear front-and-rear reference in both daylight and darkness, helping the eye pick up the sights faster during defensive use or range work.
• Fixed sight construction: A fixed setup keeps the sight picture simple and durable, making it well suited to a carry pistol where reliability and repeatable alignment matter more than frequent adjustment.
• Steel sight housings: The illuminated elements are built into metal front and rear sights, giving the set the robustness needed for regular holster use, slide manipulation, and hard daily handling.
• Masada-specific fit: Designed for the IWI Masada, this sight set matches the pistol platform directly, which helps preserve proper sight height and a consistent presentation from the draw.
• Day-and-night usability: By combining an always-available illuminated aiming reference with a familiar three-dot layout, the sight remains easy to read across changing light conditions without changing shooting technique.

About the Mepro Evergreen Series

Mepro Evergreen is Meprolight’s LED-illuminated pistol sight series built for shooters who want a familiar iron-sight format with improved visibility in both bright and dark conditions. Within the company’s handgun-sight lineup, the series sits as an electronically illuminated alternative to conventional fixed sights and tritium-only night sights, keeping the handling and profile of standard pistol sights while adding a more pronounced illuminated aiming reference.

The series uses LED light sources in the front and rear housings to create a three-dot sight picture, which helps the shooter acquire alignment quickly on stationary or moving targets. Meprolight states that the power source supports five consecutive years of operation, making the concept practical for a defensive handgun that may be carried regularly and used across a wide range of lighting conditions. In the Evergreen family, selected pistol variants are also offered with different rear-sight layouts, including non-illuminated U-shaped or square-notch rear designs, showing that the series is built around fast target acquisition while still preserving the straightforward handling expected from handgun iron sights.

About the Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for IWI Masada

The Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for IWI Masada is a dedicated handgun night sight set made for shooters who want a brighter, easier-to-track sight picture on the Masada platform without changing to a slide-mounted optic. Its core advantage is the illuminated three-dot arrangement, which keeps the presentation intuitive for anyone already familiar with traditional pistol sights while making the front and rear references easier to see as ambient light drops.

Because this model is configured specifically for the IWI Masada, it suits defensive carry, duty use, and general training where a consistent draw and immediate sight recognition are more important than user-adjustable settings. The fixed sight adjustment supports that role well: there are no exposed controls to snag, shift, or complicate operation, so the shooter gets a clean, repeatable setup that stays simple under stress. The black housing also keeps the sight set visually restrained in daylight while allowing the illuminated aiming points to stand out clearly when needed.

As a pistol sight set, this model is about speed and clarity rather than complexity. The LED-based illumination helps the eye find the sights quickly during close-range work, while the conventional notch-and-post style remains familiar for deliberate shots on the range. For Masada owners who prefer iron sights but want stronger visibility across changing light conditions, this configuration offers a practical middle ground between standard fixed sights and a miniature red dot.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. Its product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, thermal sights, magnified optics, magnifiers, and night-vision systems.

This background is especially relevant in the handgun-sight category because Meprolight has long focused on practical sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. The company’s emphasis is on durable aiming solutions that remain straightforward to use under field conditions, which is why its pistol sights are widely associated with defensive, service, and duty-oriented applications. Meprolight is a division of SK Group, and its catalog reflects a strong concentration on combat-proven and carry-oriented sighting equipment.
