Meopta Objective Flip-up Cover for Optika5/6

• Objective lens protection: This flip-up cover shields the front lens of compatible Meopta riflescopes from dust, rain and scratches, helping preserve image quality in the field and during transport.
• Made for Optika5 and Optika6 models: The cover is designed for selected Optika5/6 riflescopes with a 46 - 48 mm objective housing, giving a more secure and neater fit than a generic cap.
• Fast flip-open access: The hinged design lets the cover open quickly when it is time to shoot, so the optic can stay protected until the last moment without slowing target acquisition.
• Lightweight accessory: At 50.00 g, it adds very little weight to a hunting or sporting rifle setup while still providing useful day-to-day lens protection.
• Low-profile black finish: The black exterior matches modern riflescope bodies and keeps the accessory visually unobtrusive on hunting optics and range rifles alike.

About the Meopta Accesories Series

Meopta Accesories brings together the practical add-ons that support the brand’s sports optics in everyday use. The series covers items such as eyepieces, lens caps, tripod adapters and carrying cases, along with more specialized accessories including photo-adapters, binocular converters and the MeoPix smartphone adapter system. Rather than changing the core optical performance of the instrument, these accessories are built to improve protection, handling, transport and compatibility in the field.

Within Meopta’s lineup, the accessory range serves hunters, target shooters and observation users who want their optics configured for a specific task. Some items focus on protecting exposed glass during travel and rough weather, while others expand how the optic can be mounted, carried or connected to other equipment. This makes the series a practical companion to Meopta riflescopes, binoculars and spotting scopes, with a design approach centered on fit, durability and straightforward use. For users of hunting optics in particular, these accessories help keep equipment ready without adding unnecessary bulk or complexity.

About the Meopta Objective Flip-up Cover for Optika5/6

The Meopta Objective Flip-up Cover for Optika5/6 is a simple but useful riflescope accessory for protecting the front lens on compatible Optika5 and Optika6 models. The objective lens is the part of the scope most exposed to rain, dust, brush and accidental contact, so keeping it covered when the rifle is slung, stored or carried between shooting positions helps maintain a clear sight picture and reduces the need for frequent cleaning.

Its flip-up format is especially practical on hunting optics because it combines protection with immediate access. Instead of removing a cap and finding somewhere to store it, the cover stays attached to the scope and opens out of the way when the shot presents itself. That makes it well suited to stalking, driven hunting and general field use where conditions change quickly and the optic may move repeatedly between protected carry and active observation.

This model is intended for selected riflescopes with a 46 - 48 mm objective housing, giving a category-specific fit for the relevant Meopta platforms rather than a one-size-fits-all solution. The cover’s 50.00 g weight keeps the rifle setup balanced, and the black finish blends naturally with modern scope bodies. For shooters who want to preserve lens condition without complicating the rifle, it is a compact accessory that solves a routine field problem in a direct way.

About Meopta

Meopta traces its roots to Optikotechna, established in Přerov, Czechoslovakia, in 1933. After World War II, the company was nationalized and renamed Meopta, and it later resumed riflescope production in 1988. Today, Meopta is headquartered in Přerov, Czech Republic and develops and manufactures optical, opto-mechanical and optoelectronic products.

In the sports optics field, Meopta is known for building riflescopes, binoculars and spotting scopes, including the MeoStar line. The company also uses proprietary technologies such as MeoBright antireflective lens coating and MeoDrop hydrophobic coating, both of which reflect its long-standing focus on practical optical performance and field durability. That background makes Meopta a well-established name for users looking for European-made hunting optics and related accessories.
