MDT Vertical Grip Elite, Standard Chassis Rifle

• Adjustable hand position: Forward and backward adjustment lets the shooter fine-tune reach to the trigger, helping achieve a more natural hand position and a straighter trigger press.
• 10° rearward angle adjustment: The grip can be set from vertical to slightly rearward, which improves wrist comfort and makes it easier to maintain a relaxed firing position during long sessions.
• Larger Elite profile: The fuller shape suits shooters who prefer more surface area in the hand, giving better support and more consistent contact on precision rifle chassis systems.
• Rubber overmold and textured surface: The tactile outer surface improves control in wet, cold, or gloved use while also making the grip more comfortable over extended practice or competition stages.
• Broad chassis compatibility: The Standard Chassis Rifle version fits most MDT chassis systems and other chassis that accept a standard AR15 grip, making it a practical upgrade for many precision rifle setups.

About the Vertical Grip Elite Series

The MDT Vertical Grip Elite series sits in the company’s premium grip range for shooters who want more adjustment than a fixed chassis grip can provide. Built for precision rifle chassis systems, this series focuses on one of the most important points of contact on the rifle: the firing hand. Rather than treating the grip as a simple accessory, MDT designed the Vertical Grip Elite family to help shooters refine hand placement, wrist angle, and trigger reach for more repeatable shot execution.

A defining trait of the series is its adjustable geometry. The grip can be moved fore and aft and canted rearward, allowing shooters to tailor the interface to their hand size and preferred trigger position. The Elite version also uses a larger grip profile than MDT’s Premier variant, which makes it especially relevant for users who want more palm support or a fuller feel. With its 6061 aluminum core, rubber overmold, and textured exterior, the series combines rigidity with comfort, making it well suited to competition rifles, long-range target setups, and hunting chassis where stable trigger control matters.

About the MDT Vertical Grip Elite, Standard Chassis Rifle

The MDT Vertical Grip Elite, Standard Chassis Rifle is intended for shooters who want to improve the fit of a chassis rifle without changing the rifle’s core geometry. Its main advantage is the ability to adjust both trigger reach and grip angle, which helps align the hand so the trigger finger can move more directly to the rear. In practical terms, that supports cleaner trigger breaks and reduces the tendency to disturb the rifle during the shot.

This Standard Chassis Rifle version is designed for MDT chassis systems and other chassis that accept a standard AR15 grip, giving it broad usefulness across precision rifle builds. The grip offers 3/8" (10mm) forward / backward adjustment and up to 10° rearward angular adjustment, so it can be set for a more upright or slightly relaxed wrist position depending on shooting style. That flexibility is particularly valuable in prone, bench, and positional shooting, where small ergonomic changes can make it easier to maintain the same hand position from shot to shot.

The Elite model is also larger than MDT’s Premier version, which benefits shooters who prefer a fuller grip or need more contact area for support. A rubber overmold and external texturing improve comfort and control, while the 6061 aluminum core provides a solid internal structure that stands up well to regular field and range use.
