MDT GRND-POD, Sling Swivel

• Swivel Stud Attachment: This version mounts to a traditional sling swivel stud, making it a practical choice for rifles that do not use ARCA, Picatinny, or M-LOK interfaces.
• 2-Way Adjustable Head: The adjustable head helps level the rifle on uneven ground, which makes it easier to build a stable shooting position in the field.
• Two-Section Legs: The leg design keeps the bipod compact when folded yet gives useful height adjustment for prone and low supported shooting positions.
• Rubber Feet: Rubber feet improve grip on hard surfaces, packed soil, and rock, helping the rifle stay planted during setup and recoil.
• Aluminium Construction: The aluminium structure gives the bipod a solid feel for regular hunting and range use while keeping weight under control.

About the MDT GRND Bipods Series

MDT GRND Bipods were introduced in early 2022 as a simpler, more accessible alternative to MDT’s more feature-rich CKYE-POD line. The series is aimed at shooters who want a practical support system for hunting, field-style competition, and general shooting without moving into a highly specialized bipod design. Across the range, MDT focused on the features that matter most in real use: one-handed controls, adjustable legs, and adjustable cant tension for fast setup on uneven terrain.

The series combines a 6061-T6 aluminum core with carbon-fiber legs, giving the GRND-POD family a balance of rigidity, low weight, and everyday durability. MDT offers the platform with several attachment interfaces, including Picatinny and ARCA/RRS dovetail, so the same basic design can suit different rifle setups. In practical terms, the GRND Bipods series is built around quick deployment, straightforward adjustment, and dependable support for shooters who need stability in the field rather than an overly complex competition-only system.

About the MDT GRND-POD, Sling Swivel

The MDT GRND-POD, Sling Swivel adapts the GRND concept to rifles equipped with a swivel stud mounting point, making it especially relevant for hunting rifles and more traditional stock designs. That attachment style lets the bipod fit rifles that may not have a modern chassis interface, while still bringing the GRND-POD’s practical field-oriented design to the setup. For shooters who want a stable front support without changing the rifle’s forend hardware, this version is a straightforward solution.

The bipod uses a 2-way adjustable head, which is valuable when shooting from sloped ground, rough tracks, or improvised natural rests. Instead of forcing the rifle into an awkward position, the head adjustment helps the shooter level the rifle more naturally and maintain a steadier sight picture. The two-section legs give useful height adjustment while keeping the folded profile compact, so the bipod remains manageable on a rifle carried over distance. Rubber feet improve traction on hard and mixed surfaces, reducing slip when loading into the bipod or firing from benches, rock, or packed soil.

Its aluminium construction keeps the design robust enough for regular range use and field carry, while the non-removable leg layout favors simplicity and fewer parts to manage. Overall, this version of the GRND-POD is best suited to shooters who want a stable, uncomplicated bipod for prone and low-position shooting on rifles with a classic sling stud interface.
