MAKlassic 2 piece Pivot Mount, Rotation lock, Sauer STR, Swarovski SR rail

• Two-piece pivot design: The separate front and rear bases keep the rifle’s action area open and suit traditional hunting rifle layouts, while the pivot system allows the optic to be removed and reattached in a repeatable way.
• Rotation lock system: The rotating lock gives the mount a secure mechanical hold, helping the scope stay firmly seated during field use and making it practical for rifles that may carry optics on and off the gun.
• Swarovski SR rail interface: The rail-specific upper is built for Swarovski SR rail scopes, giving a clean, aligned connection without scope rings and helping preserve precise optic positioning.
• Rifle-specific fit for SIG Sauer 200 STR: This version is configured for the SIG Sauer 200 STR platform, which simplifies installation planning and gives a mount geometry matched to that rifle.
• Steel construction: The steel body favors long-term durability and rigidity, an advantage for shooters who want a mount that resists wear from repeated use and maintains dependable alignment.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional line of two-piece pivot mounts, developed for rifles and break-action firearms where a low, secure and repeatable optic installation matters. The series was documented in MAK catalogues by 2019 and is offered in a wide range of rifle-specific configurations, reflecting its role as a classic hunting-style mounting system rather than a one-size-fits-all rail mount.

A defining characteristic of the series is its variety. MAKlassic mounts are available for both scope tubes and optic rails, and the line includes different mount heights and front-foot offsets to suit different rifles and optic shapes. Catalogued versions are tailored to specific firearm models, which is important for maintaining proper fit, handling and sight line. The series also includes versions with rotating locks and lever locks, allowing shooters to choose the locking style that best matches their preference for removal, reinstallation and day-to-day handling in the field.

About the MAKlassic 2 piece Pivot Mount, Rotation lock, Sauer STR, Swarovski SR rail

This MAKlassic 2 piece Pivot Mount is built for shooters who want a traditional pivot solution on the SIG Sauer 200 STR while using a Swarovski SR rail scope. That combination makes it especially relevant for precision-oriented hunting or target setups where a secure mechanical interface and clean scope alignment are more important than universal compatibility. Because the upper is designed around the SR rail format, the mount avoids the separate ring clamping arrangement used on conventional tube scopes and instead provides a direct rail-based connection.

The rotation lock is central to how this mount works in practice. It gives the pivot system a firm locking action, helping the optic remain stable once installed and making the mount suitable for users who may remove the scope for transport, storage or rifle configuration changes. The two-piece steel construction supports rigidity and long service life, which matters on a rifle platform expected to deliver consistent point-of-impact behavior over repeated use. As a rifle-specific mount, it is shaped around the Sauer STR platform rather than being adapted from a generic base, which helps preserve proper fit and handling. In use, the result is a mount that prioritizes secure attachment, repeatable positioning and compatibility with a premium rail-equipped riflescope.
