Lockdown Hygrometer

• At-a-glance humidity monitoring: The Lockdown Hygrometer shows current humidity levels clearly, making it easier to spot conditions that can lead to rust, corrosion, and damage inside a gun safe, boat compartment, or RV storage area.
• Large, easy-to-read display: Its bold analog-style readout is simple to check quickly, which is useful when the hygrometer is mounted inside a vault or other enclosed storage space.
• Flexible mounting options: The included fastener and hook-and-loop pad make placement straightforward, so the unit can be positioned where readings are easiest to see and most useful.
• Compact 2 3/4" format: The small round housing fits neatly into safes and storage compartments without taking up valuable room needed for firearms, gear, or other valuables.
• Multi-environment use: Built for gun safes, boat hulls, and RVs, it helps monitor moisture in places where changing temperature and humidity can affect metal parts, finishes, and stored equipment.

About the Lockdown Accessories Series

Lockdown Accessories are built for use in firearm vaults, gun safes, and storage areas, with a strong focus on practical organization, lighting, and moisture control. Within the range, Lockdown offers products that help owners manage the storage environment rather than simply store equipment, which makes the series especially relevant for safes and enclosed compartments where humidity and visibility matter as much as physical security.

The series covers both vault lighting and moisture-control products. That includes silica gel solutions, dehumidifier rods, automatic dehumidifiers, and hygrometers designed to monitor storage conditions. In practice, this gives users a modular way to build out a safer storage setup: lighting improves visibility when accessing firearms or gear, while humidity-control products help reduce the risk of corrosion, pitting, and long-term damage. The Lockdown Accessories line is therefore aimed at owners who want straightforward, purpose-built tools for maintaining the condition of firearms and other stored valuables over time.

About the Lockdown Hygrometer

The Lockdown Hygrometer is a simple environmental monitor designed for enclosed storage spaces where moisture control matters. Its role is straightforward but important: it gives a clear humidity reading so changing conditions can be noticed before they lead to rust, corrosion, or finish damage on firearms and other metal equipment. That makes it well suited to gun safes, but also to boat compartments, RV storage areas, and similar spaces where temperature swings and trapped moisture are common.

One of the model’s main strengths is its uncomplicated format. The large easy-to-read numbers allow the reading to be checked quickly without handling the device, which is useful when it is mounted inside a safe door or on an interior wall. Its 2 3/4" diameter keeps the unit compact enough for tight storage areas, while still leaving the display easy to interpret at a glance.

Installation is equally practical. The hygrometer mounts with an included fastener or hook-and-loop pad, giving flexibility for different surfaces and layouts. That makes it easier to place the unit where airflow and visibility are most useful. For owners building a complete humidity-control setup, this Lockdown accessory works as a basic but valuable reference point, helping determine when additional moisture-control products may be needed.
